In my opinion people who base their whole act on stuff in the papers or on TV are NOT funny. People who can actually think of a funny joke on their own are good comedians.

Since most of the things we watch or grew up with revolved around white people and their relationship with pop culture, news media, and political discussion, it becomes a cheap easy way to entertain their own kind. Its all for the audience. If a black entertainer has to make a white crowd laugh. Their jokes will change. Most white jokes are intended for a minority audience.

Not one black person gets mad at either.

Since most of the things we watch or grew up with revolved around white people and their relationship with pop culture, news media, and political discussion, it becomes a cheap easy way to entertain their own kind. Its all for the audience. If a black entertainer has to make a white crowd laugh. Their jokes will change. Most white jokes are intended for a minority audience.

I mean, flip over to BET or search for white comedians on comic on youtube and you'll find it. And white people go to black comedy shows, if you look in the audience, you see white people there and when black people make fun of themselves, which is as often, if not more often, then they make fun of white people, the white people laugh. Not one black person gets mad at either.
