I dont respond to videos very often, but this was simple and strait to the point, thanks for the advice, I have service connected back problems and the military medical care is a joke. Thanks for the tips.
My lower back muscles had a spasm while I was at work (FedEx Cargo Handler) and now my back is always sore, thanks to these exercises I feel great again, thanks!
I've gotten many of these from my physical therapists over the last 2 years. The very first one here: Cat/Camel is what I was told to do daily & found it start to aggravate my back more....anyhow now I am in Yoga...
I have to in the elasticiity of my lower back muscles. I have to try and touch mty toes keeping my lower back staight. I also cant sit with my legs straight and my back at the proper angle. I can also to the "cat" stretches... Is there anything else I can do that can help me increase the elasticity of my back??
A lot of people have problems with their lower back elasticity, so this is a pretty common problem. I would suggest to stretch your body as often as possible and do it slowly, with controlled moves. By time, there definitely will be some progress.
I would suggest you to do 12-20 different exercises for about 20 repetitions. However, I would suggest you to perform a routine that concentrates on all core region muscles, not only lower back, like the one under the second link in the video description.
This video contains only exercise samples for lower back conditioning.
If you are a beginner you should probably start with 10 or 12 exercises, however, lower back muscles are able to recover much faster compared to others, like back or legs. If you arent doing any crazy, hardcore exercises you should be able to perform them every day if you like it.
I concentrate specifically on my core region once a week, but I also do some core muscle strengthening on my other training days. I do 20 -25 five repetitions of each exercise.
Thanks! I started practicing this yesterday and you can really feel the burn on your lower back. Its amazing. I´ll let you know if i have more questions.
@GreenwaldTom Hi Tom. I´m sorry i haven´t been in contact. College had me stressed out. I now have time to work out until i get a job. I´m starting to run in the beach and its working really great. I have a good metabolism so i sweat a lot and i´m able to gain or lose weight very fast. I´m starting to do this excercises again. Do you think i should work the abs the same day i´m doing this cause i read you said its good to train all your core muscles while doing this. Thanks!
@bofo2919 Hi! Great to hear that you are working out again :) There is no need to separate abs and lower back. Especially if you are training for strength, injury prevention, functionality. Also remember that there are many more great core muscle exercises. For example go to google and type in "rotational core exercises".
Great video! Thank you for uploading.
