  • Aw shucks, I'm buying a copy of this one.

Postcards of Life please keep us postcarded as you present more songs.

    This is terrific.

  • Gus Kahn would have approved. This original composition is one of the best I've heard in quite a while. The video presentation also one of the best. Keep up the good work, one day maybe soon, we will leave this dark ages of music behind and beautiful romantic songs will return. Thank you, really everything is first class.

  • so sweet..im such a sucker when it comes to the simplicities of a song

  • Just happened on this. Great song.

  • WHAT a lovely, sensitive video. So good, and so decent. The song makes that squeezy feeling, that sort of twinge thing, happen in my heart, I went to your website and I love the line, "Original music without the music industry." I have been writing songs for many years, and that certainly hit home :).

  • @katsongs Thank you so much for your lovely comments

  • Great song!

  • How the fuck did I get here from Voicians?

  • 8 people are cluess...

  • love it..love it..

  • wonderfull interpretation of this meaningfull song

    great use of the postecards

    many thanks

  • Nice song there (dunno yer name)....and the pictures are good too. I'll listen to yer other stuff in a wee while. ;-) Damian.

  • One of the nicest videos I've seen on youtube. The singers you chose to play the song for were just great and your use of the classic postcards and the photos went along with the song to create just the right atomsphere and bring back to mind a kinder and gentler age. Thanks for all the time and effort you put in to creating such a little masterpiece!

  • @Frankyvn1 Thank you so much for such a kind compliment it is greatly appreciated.

  • @Frankyvn1

here here , agreed... well done...

  • outstanding. thanks so much for sharing.

  • Excellent !

    ---------Ellen

  • @Shabannie Thanks Ellen, nice to hear from you.

  • WoW.. this is good.... reminds me of Christmas time for some odd reason...

  • I CANNOT STOP LISTENING TO THIS HEART WRENCHING PIECE OF MUSIC.OH,PLEASE TO ALL OF YOU OUT THERE DON,T LIVE TO REGRET NOT DOING WHAT TIME TEACHES YOU ALL THAT YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE AND SAID. i DID AND NOW i AM TOO LATE TO DO A THING ABOUT IT,MY GI IS DEAD AND I LEFT FAR TOO MUCH UNSAID. SO NOW INSTEAD OF BEING THE YOUNG PRETTY GIRL FULL OF HOPE AND LOVE i AM A WISER SAD OLD FOOL. IT WOULD BE WELL WORTH WORTH THINKING ON THIS BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE FOR YOU,AS IT IS FOR ME

  • I am English with Scots, Irish, Welsh and Norse blood running through my veins and this song would tell you so much about me.I loved a GI and lost him, because we coulkd not talk to each other and as a result he crossed the Atlantic back to the US so this song tells it all. Please learn to talk more to the one you love.and do not let stubborn pride stand in your way.

  • Thank you for showing me something so beautiful.

  • Thanks, but real love is beautiful. By the way I have a flight stopover in Dubai next month. Take care.

  • We definitely should have a cup of coffee. I know a very nice place in Dubai.

  • Thanks to noonoobaaggins -- you pointed out one bright spot in one of my life's most depressing events. And there is an upside in that I have learned to speak up out however it is and found that if we are not demanding, disrespectful or hateful people will respond in kind in the grater percentage. Thanks again. Best wishes

  • Your welcome arkwain, I do agree with you about respect.

I still think your comment is a very sad one and your advice is so true.

We only have one short life and we need to live it.

    Peace be with you, sir.

  • A nice, lovely tune and poignat words. Another little cracker, Adrian.

Thanks for writing, posting and sharing with us all.

P.S. Adrian, I want this one on your CD/DVD too ;-)

  • Act while you may if you have a true love apart. I'm 71 years old. My real life's love was lost in time because I never spoke up. She never knew how I longed for her all those years until 4 months before she died -- five months ago and now I know how to speak up but I can never get back to the point that I would be starting that life I could have had. So, if you have a true love -- let him or her know NOW!!!!!

  • That's a shame. At least you managed to tell her though.

  • Jimmy has brought love back into my heart.

  • *sigh, head in hand* Beautiful.

  • :) symply lovely..

  • Wonderful! Thank you...

  • A much simpler America frozen in time, when your biggest concern was how to mend a broken heart over lost love...

  • cute! ^_^
