This video explains why the south hasn't had a African American Senator since Reconstruction. What disgust. This video should be all over the cable news channels and blog sites....
If you had any real knowledge of the South you'd know that holding up a sign reading "Yankee Go Home" would piss off a LOT of people including our Oceanport, New Jersey born governor Phil Bredesen.
And where is Bob Corker really from? His ad says he grew up in Tennessee, not true. Bob was born in Orangeburg South Carolina and his family moved here when he was twelve. Tennessee is his adopted state, his roots are in the Palmetto State. Bobs got more than a few people fooled when it comes to the truth about his background.
Mr. Ford was born in Memphis, but spent much of his time growing up in D.C. because his father served as a U.S. Representative. Mr. Ford also has degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Michigan, and has lived in D.C. for the past 10 years while serving as a U.S. Representative. I think Harold Ford can be considered much more "Yankee" than Bob Corker, who was raised, educated, and employed in the state of Tennessee his entire life.
This is not an ad. While liberties were taken with the audio from a Corker ad featuring Mrs. Corker, the chanting was real and taking place a Mrs. Corker held this divisive sign before a Senate debate in Chattanooga. Presumably the "Yankee" in this case refers to Ford, although I am somewheat confused because he is from Memphis. Even if it was a reference to his stay in Washington as a representative of Memphis, I doubt very many people would call D.C. "Yankee".
LOL...Go Ford, Jr.!!!

The Corkers aren't that bright then seeing as how Tennessee's own governor is from New Jersey.

Stop trying to trick and deceive people. This footage is taken totally out of context.
