Heard this on an obscure FM station here in NJ one evening just as I was about to turn my car off and enter my house. I never liked this song, but sat transfixed. When the station didn't announce her name I ( had never heard of her), I actually called 411 to get the station's number. So glad I discovered her, but sad to hear that she passed in 1996 at the tender age of 33. What a talent lost to the world! I pray she be in the presence of Christ eternally.

i love her so much, she died when she was 30 of cacer before she was a big hit, radio 4 in England played her song when she had died and then she got big, because she was only known in Washington, so she never knew she was famous, thinking and praying for you Eva.

i remember going through my parents music stash and finding evas CD when i was about 8, i immediately fell in love. When im having bad days i just listen to her calming voice and her originaltiy. Her soul will live on with her music.

Thinking of the loss of Eva, I'm comforted by an article I once read about her. One of her close friends was saying Eva, as shy as she was, would have hated the attention and invasion of privacy that stardom would have brought her. Now, the friend said, her music has reached so many people but Eva never had to deal with the nonsense.
The CD should have had a notice: do NOT listen to this while driving or doing anything that requires clear vision!

i love her so much, she died when she was 30 of cacer before she was a big hit, radio 4 in England played her song when she had died and then she got big, because she was only known in Washington, so she never knew she was famous, thinking and praying for you Eva.

Sadly i was one of the many people who didnt discover eva until she was gone.
i remember going through my parents music stash and finding evas CD when i was about 8, i immediately fell in love. When im having bad days i just listen to her calming voice and her originaltiy. Her soul will live on with her music.

well done lucita..there is no better example of "only the good die young". sad that she passed so young, but we were fortunate to have her at all. it's no wonder that God wanted her up there to sing with the other angels. rest in peace eva..

this was played at my auntys funral and it still gets to me and its weird not seeing her name in cards and all that its just my uncles name now it still gets to me sometimes cause she was a really nice woman she lost her with cancer this year before mothers day and now i know shes in a better place and not in pain anymore her last words were "say goodbye to everybody for me and deinetly aimee shes like the grandaughter i never had" and then she died peacefully in her sleep that night. R.I.P

@ilovetila2247 this was played at my aunts and nieces funerals both in 2003 oh it seems like yesterday and like you its strange having just my uncles name on cards i will be 40 in 12 days and oh how i still miss them my brother my grandparents and my uncle all the family have gone before to wait for me and over the rainbow i shall meet them i know what your going through and the strength does come god bless her and you xxxx

ULTIMATELY, HOWEVER, THEY CHOSE TO LEAVE IT IN. WHO WOULD HAVE EVER KNOWN IT WOULD GO ON TO BE ARGUABLY THE MOST PROFOUND PART OF THE ENTIRE PLAY!

i had this song at my daughters funeral as she was a still birth i thought this was a fab video as it resembled the world and it was like i was showing her the world. i can look back at this video and song and it doesn't make me sad. a brilliant song by a total genius!
