you have just inspired me to continue my work on assembling my own development team for an indie game. In my opinion the hardest part for me i finding an artist
@XxArkhamxAsylumxX Easy. Involve an Artist during the brainstorming phase. Unless you've got money to pay for their work, most people like to give their creative input to the game mechanics design (Yes, even the Sound guys).
You could always attend game jams to find like minded people, and slowly gather a interdisciplinary team.
I was just looking at that game the other day. I had no idea I was subscribing to someone on it's dev-team.
This isn't using the same engine you were showcasing earlier, is it? I can't really tell from just those clips, but I had thought this was a fully 3D engine.
@marscaleb No, this is a new engine - the 2.5D one I was (and still am) working on wasn't very suitable due to the assets' illustrative art-style. This one's almost entirely 2D in fact and in principle a bit simpler than my original, but it's much more interesting in terms of lighting effects.
please finish Balder's gate 2....
