  • @ ttCountenance who do you think wil be on chinas olympic team in a year?

  • o.O the guy in the blue is left handed

  • @MrTheAcount Zoran Primorac for sure, but he is retired. I would say Oh Sang Eun is kinda a pushblocker too

  • MONSTER LOOPS!

  • @RandomStuffLookAts If you're so good why aren't you in the top 100? Mr. Knows It All.

  • AWESOME SONG!

  • Ma Long + China = Ma Chine

  • don't see xu beating ma

  • @alaforetnoire hes done it b4

  • ma long just wowowow is he good!! i bet he will win wm or olympia soon

  • notice how in the 4th game Xu Xin keeps trying to exploit Ma Long's position on the table (keeps shooting it on the right hand corner and Ma Long can't reach it). It just shows the precision needed to win in such a high level, fast paced game.

  • anybody know what they're saying when they yell lol??

  • 0:48 watch closely ma long changes his grip 3 times ¡¡¡

  • @eps0n Thanks for pointing that out! Live and learn...

  • Haven't watch Ma Long in a long while but he sure is a much improved player: much quicker, much fast temper of his game, more like Kong Linghui, with a very solid balanced overall style of game. Although as team mates, pen grips have disadvantages since their tactics and tricks are well known, in this game Ma Long manage to push Xu Xin into the much faster tempo and close to table combat, which is not really Xu Xin's advantage, thus Ma Long win the game kinda easy.

  • i think xu xin's gay... it's the only reasonable explanation

  • no seas mamador .. nada que ver.. los dos son máximos jugadores.. puñal tú seguramente.. razonable?? jajaja

  • I bet Xu Xin told himself that this was the last time he could only win 1 game against Ma Long in any match and he would be the TT king one day! ☆☆☆☆☆

  • @tyoungos i think that dream isnt going to come to pass while MaLong still plays. Ma Long is going to dominate TT for a long time to come. Xu Xin is an attacking player but in this match he is mostly put on the defensive cos by Ma Long doesnt take prisoners iwth his aggressive style of play but i do believe Xu xin is good but not against Ma Long

  • ma makes xu in look bad...

  • Does anyone know how we can view this in slow motion? Can we download this video and play it back on slow motion?

  • Xu Xin has definitely improved his game since this match here with Ma Long. His game with Ma Long in the Kuwait Open is an exciting one to watch

  • 0:23 it stunned me!

  • why ma long changes rubber side to smash?

  • Because Chinese rubber is good for making spin, but is not good for smash. Chinese rubber do not make the ball go far from the table during smashing the ball. The defensive player can return the ball easily. So Ma long change to use the red rubber which is Japanese rubber when he smash to make the ball more bouncing and far from the table.

  • @potecharoenpoldee thanks :)

  • ma long is 21, and xu xin is 19

  • now he switched to Timo Boll Spirit with Hurricane 3 NEO and Tenergy 64

  • Do you know the setup he had before?

  • Ma Long the new Nuomber One in the World !

  • Xu made the mistake of going crosscourt all the time, and letting Ma stick to the table. On points where he when down the line and forced Ma back to mid-distance, Ma always coughed up an error.

  • I love how Ma Long is already walking to shake hands w/ the ref before his last ball even bounces...sooo classy lol

  • That's because it was 10-3 and onto the end exhibition point, they were just putting on the end show.

  • I know why they put on an exhibition and I enjoyed it. The fact that Ma Long just went to shake the refs hand before the ball bounced was funny (if not very classy--to do a drop shot to end a point that was just for fun is kinda silly/not very entertaining or kind)

  • the ball didn't go over the net so the point was already over. ma long wasn't being a douche

  • good call...i missed that

  • @amount18

he didn't do a drop shot, the ball bounced on the

other side of the table first so the point was already over

  • Thank you, but twomonger already answered this.

  • Ma long has very good records against his teammates for obvious reasons.

  • can anyone tell me why ma long twiddles when hes smashing?

  • Because his Chinese forehand rubber is hard and sticky, so it's not very suited for smashing high balls. Almost all the Chinese players does this.

  • no because wen he smashes he uses the red rubber which is a hard rubber and the black side is a spinny rubber

  • not hard. high tension jp sponge. black side is actually harder degree, but tuned softer

  • chinese racket design: fh spin, bh speed

fh has tacky spin, bh has mechanical tension

it's to make up for the lesser bh power compared to fh

  • No, this is because he uses hurricane 3 on his fh and nittaku jo waldner on his bh. Waldner is WAY easier to smash with so he uses it that way.

  • @TTPokemonLover no he uses hurricane 2

  • he uses tenergy 64 on backhand

  • Correct!

  • Wrong

  • ma long is the best (:

  • Looks like Ma Long knows how to play against Xu really well haha...

  • why do the chinese make a player like xu, a typical penholder, and not a 2nd. Ma Long ?

Xu is good, but Ma owns him with simple blocks ...

  • well each style has its advantages, and the Chinese team wants to have the top players that represent China to vary a bit, that way there is no one player who if they are good against one particular style, will beat all the Chinese players. Also Chinese players don't start on the national team from the very beginning, so when Xu started playing, ie when he chose to use penhold, he wasnt on the national team. He was 6, and just at some club. Only after he stood out did he get picked on the team

  • @scylla24 no im pretty sure he started training at the national training center when he was 6 because thats how the chinese play they bring kids when they are young and train them

  • @haydonlee93 usually what happens is parents decide to have their kid learn table tennis, so they go to the local club and begin training at 6, by the age of 10, the people who really have the talent begin to stand out since they participate in tournaments. Its only at this time once they reach a certain level and really begin to stand out that they are potentially invited into the national team. The national team does begin training from birth because they don't know who is born with the talent

  • @scylla24 o yea i meant at 10 they start trainig with the national team

6 years old and 10 years old there still a baby to me

  • The Chinese do not have a magical factory that kicks out table tennis players. Exceptional players like Ma Long require a special mixture of talent and training.

  • Wow, Xu xin Improved his RPB so much, i can identify with his style

  • Ma was on fire! But in 4th set xu played great!

  • PWNED

  • xu has only a clever+strong forehand

  • do d chinese people first learn kung fu n all before tt

    coz thy r dan fasttttt

    lol

  • love to watch Xu Xin play. full of fighting spirit there.

  • LOL looks like xuxin got a new hair

  • yea lol i was like: hmm whose that wait WHAT?! haha

  • I also think that, rofl

Ma is such a machine, no real chance for xu

  • Xu Xin is fast... but not as fast as Ma Long =)

  • i went to the match and xu xin got absolutely destroyed honestly

  • huumiliatioon :D

    naa joking^^

but ma long played reeally destroying!

but the 4th set by xu xin also very nice!

  • I watched this today :)

  • can't wait to see a match between Wang Hao and Ma Long, seems like Ma improved ALOT!

  • Ma Long totally destroyed Xu Xin

  • umm, machine long

  • haha thats like the perfect nickname for him. god he is relentless from both forehand and backhand

  • i went here! it was great went on 31st ^^

  • thanksssssssssssssss
