I was originally looking for survivor china, but then I got bored because I couldn't find it, so I started looking for the amazing race 15, but then I came here!
I really dig Courtney. But that was fairly ungracious. I can see being over the game and the dumb people around you. But being over an experience like that, it's just kind of bratty and disrespectful.
I'd never seen this season before, and in around 5 days I watched all of the episodes (HUGE thanks to you, dazzlid!). I already knew who won beforehand, but it was a FANTASTIC season and I'd happily reccomend it to anyone.
Amazing personalities, fantastic challenges, beautiful scenery and a very strong season all-round.
Thoroughly enjoyed it, FvF and Gabon will be the next seasons I hit :)

Does Leslie not understand that Buddha is not a god? Buddhism is more of a philosophy than a religion. Christianity has God for whom Christians live a good life, whereas in Buddhism, Buddha was simply a teacher of how to live a good life. Huge difference
The producers obviously picked a devout believer in Christ and forced her to bow down to thousands of Buddah statues JUST to get a rise out of her. They know what they're doing for the sake of television.
bowing down is not always a gesture of worshipping. it can also be a way or a form of respect. and if leslie and courtney really paid attention to what jeff said, they would understand that they were not there to worship but to be welcomed. was it too hard for them to understand that maybe in that part of the world, bowing down is their way of welcoming people...?
what's funny is buddhism is not a religion that has a god- the act of bowing is not supposed to be submission to a god. there are plenty of people who practice both and are not thus non "true" christians- buddhism is simply a beautiful practice of humanity, simply put- like many other religions try and be. anyway, it does not clash with (most) other religions, that's why there are a Lot of jewish-buddhists, christian-buddhists, etc.
And quit about "respecting other religions" her should be respected as well u wouldn't ask a Muslim to take off their shawl in a church would u????? Same thing
Leslie, we TRUE Christians are very, very proud of u for standing up for Christ. In the end all will answer to Jesus and in the end u can look into Jesuss' face with pride and say, i refused to bow to that idol.......Awesome! great example!

Respecting another religion doesnt mean you should have to go into their temple and hold your hands a certain way, or bow facing their idols. Some westerners have such great awe for buddhism. Those people would probably be just as dazzled by a visit to their local church, if they were a different color and didnt speak a language you knew! @ulongkoror I'm guessing most of their stuff goes to Ponderosa so in the case they're voted out and make the jury they have their things waiting for them.

@ulongkoror they go to a hotel prior to actually going to the island, the luggage is taken away at the beginning of the game and is given back when they get out
Definitely one of the most fun seasons to be in from a castaway's point of view. They get to visit temples and mountains instead of the usual island in the ocean.
@suokkis I'm a devout Catholic, and I think as long as you're firm in your own beliefs, participating in another worship ceremony (let alone, this welcome ceremony!) should not be a problem at all. You see many world leaders (Dalai Lama, Queen Elizabeth II, Pope Benedict XVI, etc) visiting mosques, churches, temples, etc. I can already tell that she's one of those fake Christians that consider everyone who doesn't live exactly like her to be Hell-bound! =/

@AllianceofMinds Terry wasn't that smart of a player...if it wasn't for the numerous immunity wins and the idol, he wouldn't have made it to 3rd place...if anyone should've taken James' place on Heroes, it was Yul...and I do think that Jeff should've gotten rid of Coach and Randy and replaced the two with Rob C and Todd
@ulongkoror I think it's generally an above average season when you have a winner that plays the game hard, and a jury that rewards them for it. That...and I found Courtney entertaining and PG's run at the end exciting.
@ulongkoror Who cares about how it is played, they had good casting, but the challenges and the theme were what made it so good. Survivor really does not give you time to pay attention to too many ppl. so... thats what I like

The average person define it as "someone who takes their religion seriously" if that's your definition I bet Leslie would consider herself a "religious person". However the Bible defines it as someone who's obsessed with doing good works and labels it a bad thing. That is probably what Leslie meant. :)
Todd's an amazing player but I don't think he fits the Survivor mold for "Villain." He didn't do anything evil this entire season. He played the game hard in contrast to playing it like the rest of the sheep did this season. He wasn't malicious or villain-like at all.

Why is it that over and over and over again I have to witness North american being sooooo limited. I swear to G_d, I am giving a chance over and over again, and sometimes I find the odd one out, but the majority's values and beliefs (if any) are extremely superficial. Very sad.

there wasnt any power shift,extremely interesting players, or epic backstabs(in terms of that it actually shifts the control of the game)

Why is it that over and over and over again I have to witness North american being sooooo limited. I swear to G_d, I am giving a chance over and over again, and sometimes I find the odd one out, but the majority's values and beliefs (if any) are extremely superficial. Very sad.

Courtney was annoying, but grew on me. Would still love to see Peih-Gee play again.

Just explaining. When people use the word Christian example " I am a Christian", they do not even know what the word meant. It means that you are a follower of the Saviour, Redeemer Jesus Christ. At the Bible when people starts to bow themselves to the apostles, the apostles discouraged them because they are not to be worshiped. The bible also declares not to worship to any wooden or stone images. Christianity is not a mere religion it is a relationship. whether to hear and obey God, the Father
