  • South Korea has a criminal record of prostitution and bribery in the FIFA World Cup.

Scores were also abnormally high figure of the Olympic Games.

That has a sponsor with criminal records.

    Shame on you.

Figure is now no more than mere self-satisfaction of the country.

  • @1971lupin Don't use the youtube to insult and put down another person or country. Be civil. Send your complaints to the organisers if you are so unhappy.

  • @spikydurian Fixed score,it needs other countries. Many compliments was already send to I.S.U. But who make them in public? It is absurd that masked judge giving the evaluation of the player who endured severe training.

  • Whoever doesn't like Patrick Chan and thought he did bad is a jackass. He tries his best and even though he fell a few times, he still got first place.

  • I've competed against him in Golden West in September, and he missed some of his jumps, but he was actually great to watch. I kinda understand why his PCS are high. His skating skills and transisions are what makes his scores higher. He has great speed, and makes it look easy skating around, when it makes my skating look like i'm trying too hard. Watching him in person is not the same as watching him on here.

  • @tiptopsy You guys probably, like I said, don't know the sport that all well (not implying you don't know A THING) but if you were a competetive skater you'd notice how much his foot sequence and his general skating is completly out of league compared to the others skaters out there. His skating seems so easy that it gives you the idea that it's not worth the points he's getting in the program components.

  • Who is the most respectable for young figureskaters? It's Daiske,

This is the answer who is the real champion.

Patric may kepp living in the record, however, Daisuke keep in people's memory forever.

  • @ekakubo Judging by your english (not saying it's reallly bad). But I can figure you might be from countries were skating stars that do PERFORMANCES/SHOWS are more of champions then COMPETITORS. Already in the technical values; Daisuke did not have a fully rotated quad, Chan had 2 FULLY rotated ones, including a combination (already that gives you a whole chunk of points). As for the program components, Chan's skating may seem effortless but did you ever see how much he sweats after each program?

  • @ekakubo As I said to yi81, who are you to judge so severely a skater like that. Have you ever tried skating with so much flow and rapidity Chan's program if it was with ONLY singles. If you're able to do that and make it look as easy and elegant as Chan, than I can say, yes you have a right to critic. BUT still not so severely applying the fact jumps are still important in how you interprete a program (takes a LOT of energy just to do a quad combo, imagine in a constant 4mins of skating).

  • Люди кто композитор подскажите!!!!!!!

  • huge fan!

  • I think Daisuke is much much better than Patrick.

  • judges must publish their name and scoring table, or they will kill the sport.

  • @1rocksunc00 That proves the answer I gave to yi81, the scores table are available at the ISU site. Don't go hating on something you DO NOT KNOW. I doubt I'd be surprised if you were a Daisuke fan ad only watch skating for the beauty of it without knowing it's complexities. (not saying you are, just saying it wouldn't surprise me you don't know the sport well enough to be saying things like that).

  • @xMRskatingx I pointed that ISU hide how each of the judges scored. They show judges detail at the site. But the judges panel is in random order, so we cannot see which judge scored how. Each judges should have responsility to its scoring. So they must publish their names and scoring tables, because anonymity can be a breeding ground for corruption.

I can't understand why you want to protect the current way of scoring so hard. Tell me why.

  • @1rocksunc00 Because it's fine as it is.The judges are presented at the beginning of each events live.Skating will NEVER be able to be judged by computers, therefor, skating professionals, knowing what they're evaluating are best suited for the scores. However, like you, they have different opinions. I'm not saying they favorise Chan. They do know what they're doing. There's always gonna be marks that the public contests but are explainable by a professional point of view.

  • @xMRskatingx We must not doubt others, everybody is good and honest... is that your opinion? My opinion is different from yours. I am surprized that you seem not remember the scandal of 2002. Though they adopted current judging system in order to avoid the scandal like that, at that time they made a room called anonymity for doubt. The room for doubt must be lost or minimized. Otherwise always skaters are hurt.

  • Too much of one thing is not good.

    過ぎたるは猶及ばざるが如し

  • Poor Hanyu & Takahashi・・・

    Patric is injustice man !!

  • I am always angry to his toooo high PCS & GOE score !!

Is ISU the mind which still continues injustice following Yu-na Kim?

ISU which carries out injustice cannot be allowed using the Japanese who never complains!

  • The only good new is that Takahashi was not demoralized by the result. He said "This only means 1-mistake me is still not as good as 3-mistake Patrick, and that I gotta fine tune everything in my program to beat him." (not ad verbatim but along the lines of that) Talk about a real sportsmanship.

  • I never believe he won the victory.

  • I don't accuse Patrick, but judges.....If they don't stop this ridiculous scoring, patrick's skate will never be officially appreciated in stead of his effort. ISU should show all judges names/country if they think they are giving right score. How come Takahashi get only 5.5 for his TL mark....

  • I think, Patrick's skating skill andtransitions are marvelous.

But other skills, especially Interpretation, should be lower than Takahashi.

    I think this game's Patrick's PCS

    SS:9.5 TR:9.25 PE:8.25 CH:8.25 IN:8.0

    Takahashi

    SS:8.75 TR:8.5 PE:9.0 CH:9.25 IN:9.5

I wonder why judges give averege score for 5 components.

  • @3gatsunolion Don't try and judge figure skating when you probably can't even do any of it yourself

  • I am relieved that I've learned even Canadian audience felt Patrick's FS scores are too high.

not just me and so called " crazy Takahashi Fan's"

I understand that there is always home advantage but Patrick is capable to win on his own,he doesn't need any help from judge.

if these things keep happen, that would make Patrick's great achievement look cheep.

  • Patrick has super skating skill, and I think every figure skating fans knows that. and his performance getting better, but nowhere near that Takahashi's FS performance especially with 3stepping out and fall on 3Lz. I'm not saying that jumps only matter, but skater make any kind of mistake should effect on technical and presentation scores.

also judge showed that judge can't trusted, when one judge gave ridiculously low point takahashi for his footwork even it doesn't count.

  • season best???

  • Even if ISU recognized it, the world does not accept him to be a champion.

  • 審判は老眼鏡を買い換えたほうがいい。

  • It seems the scenario was being prepared for if he wins. It's a scenario that totally ignores the opinions of the crowd.

  • I prefer other skaters in this event to Patrick. Having said that.. When Comparing the other top men in the competition. Patrick's program is TECHNICALLY so much more challenging on almost every level its ridiculous..No Patrick didn't skate cleaner compared to the other skaters. But 2 quads with a step out is still like doing 2 triple axels. So basically Patrick did 3 triple axels + 2 triple triple combos and his transitions are WAAAY harder then everyone's.soon2B2timeWorldchamp.

  • I do not understand.

    Why is he a winner?

What do you, Canadians, think of this his performance?

  • Comment removed

  • @oionrk Why? Because the judges are corrupted. Takahshi deserved to win and Abbottt the second place: so simple.

  • Seriously? -1 and -2 on a step out on the first quad toe? I understand -2, but seriously? -1? You gotta be kidding me.. and +2 and +1 on the first triple lutz? I don't know what the ISU judges see, but what they see, and how they mark him, pisses me off. >.>

  • @Skate4Life827 +1 and +2 on the first 3Lutz because it is a combo not really done by anyone else, 3Lutz half Loop 3Salchow. Takeshi's 3Lutz just had a 2Toe at the end. There is where the difference lies. The degree of difficulty!

  • @Skate4Life827 The first lutz was clean, it was the second lutz he got marked off for

  • Patrick Chan is the saddest thing that could happen to figure skating(

  • score ...

  • I am Canadian and a Chan supporter...but I have to agree - the judging was off. One judge scored him a 9.5 grade of execution after hitting the wall in the SP. There is no justification for an execution score that high when he clearly didn't perform well.

  • Patrick and his skating with such errors and such assessments fully discredited figure skating as a sport!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @rickyMontreal So, you did check score sheet on the internet.what most people posting comment about is component score. Please check Daisuke's score sheet, and then talk about fair judge.one judge gave him 5.50 for Dai's transition/linking foot work.

6.75 for his choreography/composition.We all think that Patrick is great skater, and he has nothing to do for those crazy scores. please check British Euro comment (especially for result movie)

We're not only one to think this is wrong

  • I can't believe it...not his performance but his score...

  • Despite the mistakes, this performance was awesome- the transitions and 2 triple-triple combps were great and the gliding on the ice is incomparable. It just flows from one element to another! Beautiful to watch.

  • i love patrick chan, but he made so many mistakes that he shouldn´t have won the free skate. i personally like yuzuru hanyus fs the most!

But i think the final result is fine, there was no skater who did two perfect programs.

Over all the judges are to blame not the skaters.

  • @portfaz18 did you see daisuke's short?? yuzuru will be a threat to chan soon, but not yet.. he needs more time to polish.

  • i feel cheated!!

i love figure skating but this long program does not deserve the high marking that it got!!

  • this score is a shame for figure skating...(( someone should lodge a protest to FS Federation. It discreditates the competitions and offends public.

  • @spikydurian

To enjoy what?? Countless mistakes*? "Dirty skating"?? Badly performed elements?? It has nothing to do with nationalism. Its the honour and prestige of figure skating, which suffers((

  • @kuchunchik I'm sorry but honestly you're telling me Daisuke did a clean program? It's not because Chan makes it SEEM easy that it is. His transitions are maybe 2 times harder then Daisuke's. It's not because Daisuke is a rockstar on ice that we should attribute him points in program components.

  • @xMRskatingx It’ s so funny to see Chan supporters screaming everywhere “you know nothing about figure skating if you don’t accept Patrick deserves to win no matter what”. Telling Chan’s transition is twice more difficult than Takahashi’s alone tells how little you know about the sport. Takahashi’s triples come out of nowhere in perfect tune with the music. Chan just shows off to the judges how difficult his move are, which have no relation to the music.

  • @kaorumikeko Come out of nowhere? I'm sorry but it's easy to predict when anyone will jump if you actually know skating. You might be a little deaf or just not appreciative enough of music to not see the choregraphy in Chan's jumps. Besides, how you see him live is much more different than just seeing him off the net. As for me not knowing skating well enough, I'm a skater myself, competitive level and friends with judges, I know the system that gives me my points and where skaters get them.

  • @kaorumikeko althought I understand you, the way Chan makes it look easy makes you doubt of his skills. Also, I've never said “you know nothing about figure skating if you don’t accept Patrick deserves to win no matter what” I'm just pointing out people shouldn't judge out so harshly if they only know figure skating by watching it or reading about it and notice I said MAYBE 2. If you have actually skated to a level higher then juvenile you'd know how technically hard Chan's transitions are.

  • @kaorumikeko Oh and you say Takahashi is in PERFECT tune? He actually skips alot of beats in his FP (LP) if you notice he actually doesn't do all his moves on the music which is kinda funny seeing how basic the musical highlights are in that music.

  • @kaorumikeko Takahashi's music has A LOT of room for plenty of different transitions and moves and he just doesn't exploit it so much which is a shame because he could go get a lot of points there.

  • @xMRskatingx

calm down. How many comments do you have to make on this video?

  • @yi81 Is there a limit on comments so long they are civil comments?

  • @spikydurian haha thznks for speaking my mind. Most of people here are probably Takahashi fans o.O

  • @spikydurian LOL, a little aggressive but I guess it also reflects my point of view :P most of these people don't actually know skating well enough to be judging this performance so harshly.

  • ok, that is ridiculous.... 3 mistakes and still he gets a seasons best? u gotta be kidding me. *ugh*

  • I'm sorry I don't get it! Daisuke's program had more style & passion than Mr Chan can ever hope to have!!! Even young Mr Hanyu shows sign of artistry in parts of his FS that I have yet to see in Chan - who never manages to skate cleanly or deliver the passion & magic of Daisuke who actually takes you someplace whenever he performance!!!!

  • @jbanksmini You probably don't know all about skating do you. As long as you don't know enough about the sport, you can't go complaining about the results and the high points because you don't know WHERE or HOW they're acquired.

  • @xMRskatingx

I might not know everything about figure skating, but I'm betting that the commentators for Eurosport know a fair bit - including more than you! And I agree with them that Takahashi and Hanyu delivered stronger technical performances than that error-filled mess from Chan AND that they would have given Chan's 2nd set of marks to Daisuke!

In any event, I (like you) have a right to my opinions!!!

  • Congratulation Patrick for again winning a major competition with a flawed performance. I think Skate Canada is supporting you very well, don't you think? Do you still feel under-appreciated in Canada?

Do you know why you are not as popular as you think you deserve? Do you know why you receive so many negative comments in YouTube? This. You win no matter what. The race is always pre-fixed whenever you are in. People don't take figure skating seriously as a sport any more because of you.

  • Comment removed

  • @kaorumikeko LOL you're actually blaming him for the potentially overrated scores he gets? Scores aren't in his control at all.

  • @xMRskatingx

i didn't read kaorumikeko's comment but you're right. He's not in control of the scores but he just gets these crazy marks although there aren't much improvements. He had obvious 4 jump mistakes here. The scores show some OBVIOUS favouring of patrick chan, but after all, judges' scorings are killing him. Look how Chan is now hated here because of the way judge mark him. Read the comments. people do agree that Chan is a great skater, but are mad at him b/c of the crazy marks.

  • @yi81 Thanks a bunch for pointing it out :P although I still think some hatred comments are really unjustified. I think a lot of his points are justified unfortunately juged by people on the net that do not know the sport as well as a competitive skater or a competitive judge do.

  • Comment removed

  • So, the judges thought this boring and generic choreography was better than Takahashi's super-complex and intricate blues? Chan interpreted music better than Takahashi? This is a bad joke, seriously. No wonder figure staking's popularity is declining in Canada.

  • His perfomance is beautiful, but like Jeremy, when he make mistakes,

should affect technical and presentation score.

But somehow his mistakes didn't affect his presentation score at all.

  • I dont know if its cause with the sound being so raw it feels like i am there, but this is the best, PERFORMANCE wise that i have seen him. I actually really disliked his program until today. Moi Bien Lori nichol!

  • the judges need to end their little love affair with patrick chan and disregard that this is taking place in canada. i have no problem with patrick winning, but his free skate marks should not have been higher than Takahashi's. and if they were justly higher, then they need to revise the scoring system again cuz that's just ridic.

  • Comment removed

  • @JPmensfigureskating I agree.

There is not the meaning to do in Canada.

  • This not a CHAMPION's performance!!! LOL......

  • @huigomi

He is the most overscored male skater I have ever seen. Jamie and Davis and their 2001 Worlds gold was the same story. I am neither Japanese nor a great fan of Daisuke but I had shiver during his LP. Poor Patrick, he feels unappereciated even in Canada. I am not suprised at all. He is not a legend of this sport and never will be.

  • @Blanka1100 HE is not a legend of this sports, but his score is and will be.

    So sad.

  • @Blanka1100 I'm sorry but as a fan (and ONLY a fan) you can't fully appreciate skating since you HIGH LIKELY DO NOT KNOW A LOT ABOUT THE SPORT. Don't go and critisize someone's performance if you don't even know where and how they got the good points.Go read everything about the judging system, everything about skating itself, and hell even go try it out, you'll see Chan has ABSOLUTELY deserved the points he got.

Please go home study more skating skill.....LOL.

I watching figure skating over 30yrs...how old are you?

    Shame on you too!!!!!!!
