Cho buy his gun legalLY at a gun shop and did a background check and pass the gun he use wasn't from gun show. CLOSING the gun loop hole is like taking away our second amendment right.
I bought a shotgun at a NH show with cash only. No ID. No background check. I could have been a psychotic crack dealer for all he guy knew. It isn't political at all just to check that people aren't criminals or crazy before you hand them something that can kill in the wrong hands. I'm all for the second amendment, but not for lunatics.

It doens't matter what state it's in if a hand gun dealer want's to sell at a shoe he must hold the gun for 3 to 5 day's while performing a background check ! That is an ATF, FBI must do ! @balsar429 ya prety much. compared to a rifle or shot gun it's real easy to hide a hand gun in your clothes. I live in TN though and it's a 24 hour wait for long guns and 48 hours for a hand gun . some places are diffrent , might take 2 days , might take 3 depends on where ya live .

If I have a criminal record I cannot pass the Police background check, so I will not get a permit, so as long as I live in NJ I can never get a gun legally. But if I drive to VT I can get a gun at a gun show no background check needed, hence there's IS a loophole.

Or I can drive over to the state next to me and buy a pistol from a private citizen without needing a background check. Therefore, since I can avoid the laws in my state by driving to another state, then there is a loophole.

This is extremely misleading because the majority of gun sales at shows already require a background check. Federal law does not require a check in sales between private individuals and NOTHING can happen at a gun show in Virginia that cannot legally happen anywhere else in the state.
