HYPERBARIC OXYGEN TREATMENTS FOR AUTISTIC CHILDREN

We live in PA and have used this treatment on my son for 13 session and have seen behavior improvements he pays attention to abc and numbers. My son as Aspergers he could always talk but was so hyper that they couldn't control him in school. He would throw things and when it came to holding a pencil he would do it. he would just throw it across the room. Now the teachers are amaised with the way he acts and the tss. This works we need to get this approved.

Certainly Autism Spectrum Disorder is never a pleasant condition. The impact of the disorder can split families, cause financial hardship, in that sense, it is evil. However, with certain medical modalities, autism can be controlled, greatly reducing its impact and in many cases patients can look forward to a productive life. I have a 5 year old autistic child who was non verbal. After completing 100 HBOT sessions he started talking. He's vocabulary has dramatically increased. Please do this for your child its a great treatment

That might sound great but my 2 year autsitic child is doing all of those things the lady mentioned such as eye contact and being more social with his regular birth-3 therapy sessions once a week. So alls I am saying is regular therapy works just as good

@sgarcia608 Autism Spectrum Disorder may require multiple therapies i.e. speech, behavioral, diet therapies. All of which are a piece of the spectrum puzzle. HYPERBARIC OXYGEN IS THE LARGER PIECE OF THAT PUZZLE. Why? HBOT decreases the inflammation in the brain and decreases the yeast in their gut, therefore allowing all other modalities to work faster and more efficient. Not enough room for a complete answer. To Kainestolkyn, Most of the results shown on here could have been attributed to the other therapies, environment, schooling, doctors, etc., that the persons received OR MAYBE Just The Child/Adult Themselves HEALING FROM WITHIN On Their Own?!, (Ex. My Grandaughter, Videoes On My Site!) This wasn't the ONLY Therapy Used On The Individuals! I've spoken with a family of a CP child, that could have been in a "blind" study For HBOT, but they chose not to, WHY? HBOT should be used solely to determine

Since a blind study involves one group treated with 100% oxygen (under pressure @ 17 feet) how do you treat the other group? Delivering ambient oxygen (approx 21% oxygen 79 % hydrogen)? Ambient air under pressure would increase the air concentration to a maximum 40% + -.

Sounds great, but insurance won't cover it and does it REALLY work? Most therapies/schooling for Autism & CP seem to work just as well. For me I need more proof, I wish the FDA would do a study, then maybe we would see.

The FDA won't do a study on this, and insurance won't cover it. REASON: Because it works. It takes a bit of open-mindedness and some un-brainwashing to understand why this isn't supported by government.

Kainestolkyn, you seem to be a person that has an open mind and a strong one. This treatement definately works. Parents with children that have Autism see the result for themselves. No one knows their children better than the parents. Insurances don't want to pay because it works and costs alot of money. This is the usual case with insurances. They decline as much as they can and for as long as they can.

hyperbaric therapy does show positive results

neurofeedback worked wonders for me and there were only a couple studies that implied it MIGHT help

I do bill insurance at our center and many insurance carriers do pay either the entire fee or a percentage depending on the plan. Parents must remember that HBOT is a "piece of the puzzle". It is a major piece but ABA, speech, diet and supplements are also important and should be included.
