@Fleur114 i had the ipod touch, i liked it a lot but the sound quality just wasn't there. if you're looking for games and fun features go for the itouch. if you just want something tiny and ridiculously simple, the nano is perfect. sound shouldn't be an issue for most people so forget what i said earlier.

Here's a plan. Give the movies to your computer after you watch them once or twice. No one legally uses over 5 gigabytes of music.

You can't fit much into a portable device while trying to get a good battery life.

SSDs are expensive, get over it.

You can do homework on an iPad, math is easy enough without a calculator.

Camera will most likely be 2nd Gen.

I've been trying to decide whether to upgrade my phone to an iPhone 3GS + $50cdn/mo (minimum) plan or just get a Touch 3G 32GB. The one thing that I don't understand is that the 5G Nano has a camera, the iPhones have one, but the Touch doesn't. I know giving the Touch a camera would make marketing a bit tougher but come on, for $299cdn the damn thing should have a camera, especially when the $149 "lesser model" has it. /end griping. :)

Who even cares. I already have a camera and a camera phone, why the hell do I need a camera on my Nano? Apple has run out of ideas it seems. I'm sure they will come up with something else, but the Ipod was limited from the get go. It was never designed or intended to be much more than it was when it was first created. Ok here's the thing with apple, the sound sucks, but then the files that you download from itunes are such good quality files, that it makes the ipod sound ok. Files from other stuff sound horrible on the ipod. THe ipod restricts the sound A LOT. Itunes+a good mp3 player=heaven. That's why the songs are so expensive.

Then you have a bad ear. I've had the mini and then the brick Zune. Then I got the Touch. The sound quality disappointed me a lot. My 1st gen brick zune had better sound quality than the second gen touch, which came out later than the zune. What else have you listened to, sanDisk? Samsung? Nextar? Phillips? Don't make me laugh.
