I've seen them over 10 times as far back as the Prayer tour for Disintegration and every time they sound they they are a mile wide and a mile high. There are not many bands that can do this and sound like this live. It really is an epic sound and experience.

An artist must know when to stop and The Cure should´ve stopped in 1993 after the Wish Tour.

1996´s Wild Mood Swing was the most disappointing album of the year. The record was full of shit except for Jupiter Crash.

Then Bloodflower came but it was clearly an stupid effort to get back to roots but failed: the magic escaped when Porl Thompson and Boris Williams departed in 1993. Perry Bamonte was average and Jason Cooper a bad drummer.

The Cure & Dream 4.13: same story.

Yeah I too have left comments here and there about firing Roger was totally wrong. Lots of their old songs are heavy with keyboards and they don't sound right without them. Roger was their best keyboard player. Listen to their version of Plainsong without keyboards on the Festival 2005 dvd. Sounds horrible.

I heard once that they are his favorite albums. I know he thought Bloodflowers was their best when it was released. Personally, I think Disintegration was, but these are the three most emotive albums, and....can you imagine all of the feelings one would experience sitting through all three? Even a few songs from Pornography made me shudder in horror and awe when I saw them live. My only complaint is that the songs ARE so much better live T_T
