I think every time I've ever seen a goal like this its usually because the goalie thinks he has it and tries to glove it. If he'd just put his whole body in front of it and stopped it with his pads it would probably be less likely to find a hole. I actually can't think of a soft 100 ft+ goal where it wasnt the goalie being cocky and using the glove.
