This WASN'T LIVE!!! It was a "stand-up" being taped to be inserted into a "package" for the news that evening. This is Amy Robinson from WWTV in Cadillac, Michigan, This was the winter of 1989/90. I know because i worked there when this happened.
I remember the moment she walked into the newsroom. She was soaking wet and cold, but laughing. She had radioed ahead that this happened. When she got back we all went into an edit bay and watched this tape over and over and over, again! Good times.
