do you know that trick on fifa 98 where you can slide tackle right when the goalie drop kicks and steal the ball right from his foot? Even on world class I would win 15-0 by just shooting long balls and doing that. They fixed that "glitch" on fifa 99 :-(

The reason why you're so good is because back then, the keepers sucked. I scored on a freekick from nearly half-field. The ball rolled between the keeper's legs. The game, itself, was awesome, but the goalkeeping was horrendous. I still have this game, but I haven't played it in years. Best FIFA title ever (despite the poor goalkeeping).
