  • Diggin the TNP shout out. i like your system alot, simple no nonsense. I noticed that you dont carry any OC though?

  • Comment removed

  • Cool to see that you are a TNP guy as well...what is the brand of duty holster? Also, this is the 1st time I have seen your vid or have heard of you, thanx for the info.

  • I've learned that the Hindi belt system works well for me. Twelve years in Law Enforcement and I've used this system. It's essentially keeping all essential tools up front, accessible with both hands. Essential, meaning firearm, magazines, baton, TASER, handcuffs, and OC spray. Non essential items, ie: radio, gloves, Leatherman, spare cuffs, etc, at the back, And nothing should be behind your firearm, especially with a Safariland holster. Look it up, Hindi Belt System. Just another method.

  • How's the double cuff case feel after a shift in the car? Looks painful!

  • Why don't you carry a taser or spray?

  • Thanks for showing everybody how to access the holster.

  • great setup and weapon choose

  • good to hear it, because that gear u originally posted most of it will get u hurt, duty gear is nuthin to skimp on, so take care and have a great new year

  • Are you a LEO or security ?

  • @DeputySheriff330 Was armed security, am now in the LEO block of the academy.

  • what type of flashlight do you keep on your duty belt?

  • @supersniperskillz LED Lenser M7R

  • I can't stand when security/cops un-holster their weapons on video. Just terrible officer safety.

  • @BETaveras88 As long as you have a brain and a finger that are connected there should be no problem.

  • ur a cop right

  • @coltsboy86 I was doing armed security at the time I made this video. I am now in the LEO block of the police academy.

  • Typo: Nothing SHOULD be on your spine is what i meant.

  • Nothing, especially cuffs shouldn't be on your spine. Good way to get paralyzed. Not sure about light behind gun either. When shooting low light, gun should come out first, then light. Not going to happen with gun and light on same side. Though maybe your light in your pocket is your main light. That makes the one on your belt the back up? Not trying to bust your stones. I just disagree with your setup. Im no expert.

  • @djturnz I have made a lot of changes since this vid and have switched the light sides. This was my setup while doing Armed security work. I am currently in the LEO block of the academy and have learned a lot about how to set up my gear better.

  • if that is gear u use as a police officer, dude your agency must be broke, the light, baton, no spray? wtf its crap, your so called flashlight doesnt even fit correctly,

  • @tntturner1 I am just starting out and a in the LEO block right now so I am still learning as well, and have already made changes to my set up. As for the flashlight it has been upgraded to the LED Lenser and switched to the other side. The Baton has been Upgraded to the 26" ASP. And I am now shooting a Glock. I will post an updated vid.

  • If you're fighting 15-20 guys, I'd think a good pair of running shoes would be your best bet. Great vid, but why no OC spray?

  • Really enjoyed your video may I ask what is the brand on your swivel baton holder?

  • Every officer should carry a pepper spray...if somebody is drunk for example and he is resisting arrest the pepper spray is the best way to go!

  • nylon belts look best. i wish i had half ur stuff

check out ,ine at my channel

  • Cheap non asp brand baton I see?

  • @hunkgod It was a peace of crap and has been upgraded to the 26" ASP.

  • you pulled me over...

  • when becoming a cop does the PD supply your belt?

  • @OmarGar77 Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't.

  • what kind of pepper spray would you recommend

  • What kind of flashlights are those?

  • @Callihandawg LED Lenser M7R

  • Comment removed

  • i subed

  • Knife. Be advised Winchester PDX have had difficulties expanding through denim(plugged), thus causing over penetration. Check out tnoutdoors9 channel, and his test using Pdx 9mm ammo.

  • r u a cop?

  • why no leg drop gear

  • @alex007q Makes it hard to run with stuff on you leg.

  • @alex007q cause it's against policy.

  • no mace or taser??

  • are you a cop are what

  • I think its a bad idea to have your cuffs in the back center of the belt. You could fall or be pushed onto your back and hurt your spine. It also causes you to put your hand behind you to get them out which could be tough if you are fighting with someone.

Your light looks too hard to get to.

  • Good shit dude!!

  • Hey I wanna be a cop. I'm 17 gonna be 18 in 4 days. I respect you and thank you for serving our country. Ty. Also I love your set up. You are very wise and think of the worst situation so that no matter what the outcome is your are ready.

  • No he's not r u stupid

  • @theabdulla96 Your cool.

  • Whats the weight on your duty belt. And whats your total weight you carry on duty like your vest, your duty belt, and your EDC. And how would you chase a suspect that is run away from you and is fast with all that weight on?

  • Why was your asp falling out?

  • @Harshmeister123 That asp sucks I got a new one.

  • I like how practical you are. Very Nice set up.

  • Another TNPer!

  • @thetjdrummer789 Yes I am nutn rocks

  • can you do a video on ur radio? if u can.

  • I like the sharp tactical look of your nylon belt, IMO, leather stuff looks stupid

  • @kaianuanu I am not a big fan of leather.

  • nice vid im getting a asp in a couple days . im just getting my EDC together im no cop or security my state is wicked layed back on the laws . my future EDC is going to be a switchblade kershaw blackout , asp baton , stun gun , ka bar knife and glock 19

  • @bossman12334 Why not an AR-15 jk.

  • @bossman12334 Check out my EDC vid

  • I forgot to mention a while back. The belt you're using is a 5.11 Operator belt. I have the same. Also speaking of belts being uncomfortable, mine is perfectly fine--I just don't like having to take off all of the keepers once I'm off-duty and changing out. No I'm not LEO, I work security.

  • what brand of hollows?

  • @iamthedude24 Hydrashok

  • @iamthedude24 Win PDX best hollow on the market as of 2011 I think anyway.

  • @knifegunguy cool man! I use speer gold dots 147 grain, my 9mm loves them!

  • Any opinions on old school beating tools like a sap or blackjack over the ASP? I know most agencies do not allow their use anymore but from what I've heard from old school guys, those things would work very effectively at putting a mouthy subject down

  • @mrpicky510 yeah those things are not allowed by most agencies, may want to invest in some sap gloves.

  • great vid, great gear. no oc? are you with a department? check out my vids. let me know what you think. and good set up as well brother!

  • I use Surefire and Streamlight. For work that is life and death on lighting spend the money.

  • Thanks for the vid. What brand of flashlights are those? Thanks.

  • @zthermo I just changed over to the LED LENSER M7R the light rocks check out the review I just did.

  • i want to be a police officer really bad, at what age can i try to enter the academy, i am 16 atm. thanks

  • @stridetide155 You will have to wait until your 21 but when your 18 you could go get you degree in Criminal Justice then you will have a better chance of getting hired. You may not even have to pay for post you could get an agency to pay for you.

  • No OC Spray or Taser?

  • hey so since ur a cop, I was wondering what is the maximum sentence for being booked with a concealed weapon in Ontario, Canada? like an expandable baton or knife. and also, when do police officers have the right to search people?

  • @gunsnrosescolin2 I am not qualified to answer your question for a couple of reasons. 1 I live in Utah, U.S. and we have a different justice system. 2 I am not a judge, and it is a case by case basis do to mitigating or aggravating circumstances and the judges discretion. To answer your other question refer to the fourth amendment in the bill of rights at least for the U.S. They must have probable cause or a search warrant.

  • @gunsnrosescolin2 I'll answer since I live in Canada. Batons and such are prohibited in most Provinces if you're not an LEO or required to carry it on the job (IE: Security). Knives aren't illegal, but you must carry it a certain way and it cannot be a really long fixed blade if you plan on carrying it around in an EDC fashion. You can only be searched if they have probable reason to do so, but they cannot search your bag without consent. It sounds like you're planning to get into trouble?

  • @Marty32

nah, im just a curious cat. so what is the most trouble you can get in if you get caught with like an expandable baton and its concealed or something?

  • @gunsnrosescolin2 Depending on what you'll use it for. They like to ask questions, a lot of it and a lot of the time they're really just trying to squeeze a reason out of you that they like. Not that they're being dicks, they're doing their jobs by protecting everyone else. They don't know you, so why should they be nice? Most likely they'll take it away from you and give you a slap on the wrist. But they may get you with carrying a concealed weapon with some kind of intent.

  • since your a cop would you arrest a responsible kid carrying a pocket knife while fishing hiking boating etc with an adult?

  • @thepackripper89 If that is all the info to the story which I don't think it is there would be no warrent to make an arrest. Or even bother the young man for that matter. Police officers do not just make an arrest for fun, for one thing its more paperwork. Like I said I don't think we are getting the correct story here from the kid that is.

  • @knifegunguy Quite honestly I don't think an officer would arrest a kid for having a knife in his possession. Especially if he's hiking or doing something outdoors-wise.

  • @Marty32 I could not agree more.

  • @thepackripper89

hey law enforcement, check out americansecuritysupply. com for all your duty gear needs. cheapest site around no joke, just trying to help. under amour boots for under 100!

  • @jessnclh Thank you all this info helps me and all that check this out.

  • @knifegunguy

sure no problem, i am just trying to spread the word for my good friend. the site is going to be big i think, he researches all the products and then puts the price out. hopefully the site can spread to say us all some money in the law enforcement field.

  • @thepackripper89

    americansecuritysupply (dot com)

  • I believe that's a sharade EXP baton?? They are a cheapy I carry one not too bad for cost but the amount of money. Nice review mate ,

    Stay Safe

    ASObaird.

  • @ASObaird Thank you for the info. I am still in the market for a new on i will post it when I find it.

  • No Mace? Nice set up and I know you said everyone sets their stuff up different, but kinda suprised me when you didnt show any mace, and didnt see any.

  • solid review. Are those AccuMold pouches?

  • @Tzerne Thank you. I think they are.

  • @knifegunguy

department issue? I looked a little closer and saw they were Velcro closure whereas the AccuMold pouches have snaps. I was just curious because the nylon you're running seems to hold up to wear pretty well, compared to my nylon gear that looks like junk

  • Why no mace or TASER?

  • Seriously look into the Hindi System.

  • @td84 It is sweet but its not cheap, it think its more than a all leather Safariland setup.

  • @knifegunguy Huh? You lost me there.

  • The knife is a Cold Steel Sparton. try the baton that way see if it works but like I said in the vid I am not an expert.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheHidbenPianoSheet I know what a shame. I just like nylon better all of the leather belts I have had tend to fail at the buckle. High quality nylon will never fail you. Like 5.11 belts.

  • your a police officer? I like the choice of firearm...Dept issue?

  • @ArmyRescue2 No I like the XDM over the glock just seems to be more bang for the buck.

  • What type of side arm do you carry?

  • you dont use mace?

  • @vingebil I just don't carry it on my belt.

  • @knifegunguy ok, are you a security gard ?

  • @knifegunguy lol where do you carry it?

  • @knifegunguy Then where do you carry it? On your leg, or in your vehicle or locker?

  • Can I borrow a set of your handcuffs? He He He
