whether they made them for skating or not, the fact is they WERE the original skate shoe. Good business sense tells you to cash in on a growing market. You can't hold that against Nike. China manufactures almost half of all the shoes in the world, so chances are, your precious vans are made there too. And i still know of plenty of real skate companies that are still going strong. you have nothing.

Nike's were the original, i won't relent on it. They weren't meant to be skate shoes necessarily, but they were used for that.
