Multi instrument channels for Maschine in Logic Pro

i managed to important the sounds from maschine as separate tracks but still have the problem with the piano group stuff, it doesn't import the sound from maschine instead its the grand piano playing the patterns.

i've followed the video step by step and once i drag in the drum pattern from maschine, the pattern pops up as a single exs grand piano group instead of individual tracks for each sound .. any suggestions to how i can fix this?

i did this but when i play the track the maschine plays its part on loop how do i stop it?

I have a maschine beat ready to export and i want it in logic pro with all the separate sounds. Do i just export and import it in logic pro?

When I assign a kit to a group, a pattern automatically emerges.

How do i delete a pattern, just have it blank when you assign a kit to a group like you had here. You had to manually draw a beat sequence because you had nothing there.

Thanks for your videos. I have a question... Im an old studio guy who learnt on sequencers, midi, CV Gate and smpte sync tape in the 80's.. I've used cubase sx 3 since 2004 and im just moving to logic 9 and buying a Maschine today.

It seems there are 4 ways to use Maschine as a plug in. is this right?

1 Run Maschine entirely live as a plug in, with scene / patterns / song play order programming matching the track in the DAW

2 Export full song length audio from machine track by track or mix

I want to use maschine in Mixcraft, how do i do that? Do i set it up as an audio or a MIDI, i want to be able to load in a kit or synth in maschine and record it in mixcraft, please if anyone can give me a step by step of how to id greatly appreciate it. Happy Holidays!

Hi i'm basically wanting to use three or four Maschine plugins within logic on seporate channels rather than running all the midi out of one unit. ie' one for all my drums, bass, melodies ect. I can set it up but can't then switch between the plugins using the controller any help? The manual they don't provide is useless

The plus button is the shortcut. The plus button appears when you select a multi out instrument at the bottom of the channel strip

Does anyone know how the export midi "Drag and Drop" works ? every time i try to drag it into logic it doesn't drop in at all it just bounces right out.

can you tell me how to channel my maschine to logic so all 16 tracks gets separated in logic. like i do in my ultrabeat. cus i use maschine as a pluk in, but i can only work with maschines 16 tracks on one track in logic i need to have evry sound on its own track. if you understand what i meen.. tryed trough the manuel byt its to difficult to understand.. thanx

@halfcazt2660 You need to choose the multi output instance of maschine in Logic, try the 16X mono instance for example, then in logics mixer, you need to click the plus sign on the instrument track to open up all 16 channels for maschine, then in maschine you need to assign each pad to the different outputs 1-16......check my other video, I go over this while covering something else......

or u can open maschine as a multi and open midi aux tracks for it ..EASY !!

when i drag my midi from the maschine into logic it automically puts them on channels from my motif (External Instrument).

Is there settings i have wrong or.....

@ThisIsDayDreamer yea your settings for your midi tracks need to point to maschine, not your motif, check the midi port assignment for your tracks in the inspector.

Hey man I can't highlight my stuff on MASCHINE anymore... It's extremely hard to edit now because whenever I click it creates something instead of highlighting something. Do you know how to fix it?

@TheJamiecorrie you have to set the "drag" preference in maschine to MIDI and not audio........check the manual on how to do that......
