  • While I think Amy Winehouse was great, this is my favourite version.

  • I CAN'T just listen to only one or two genres of music. I listen to just about everything. From Mozart to metal. I get bored with the same thing all the time. Some people don't get it. But I say, why confine yourself to a category of music which usually results in you becoming the "stereotype" of whatever music that you choose to only listen to? Now this is not always the case, but it is certainly a case.

  • Estoy llorando ! I`m crying !

  • will you

  • The song,There Goes My Baby,by the Drifters was hte first rock and roll tune to have the string orchestra behind it.Produced by the great team of Jerry Lieber and Mike Stoeller

  • love it!!!

  • Does anyone have the original version of "Baby it's You" with Shirley on Lead. Not the "done over" version....thanks

  • Jr. High days! This beauty brings back great memories! It was a fine time to be a teenager!

  • there are so many emotions, you can feel the heart pain

  • I remember listening to this song when I was a teenager. Hearing it now still brings me back to that time in my life when everything was easy and care free. Thanks for posting.

  • The string arrangement is just fantastic! Really amazing! And oh, gosh! Listen closely to this violin doubled with piano!

  • I'm 28 now, but really wanted to be born at this time!!!!

I was born at the wrong time!

  • @DepressivoH It was so great and those there were so lucky. Never be repeated. Enjoy the music that we have to remind us. Happy listening

  • @DepressivoH

    It's just like that.

  • It's so sad that they don't make such music this days... all you hear is garbage pop and trashy electro hip hop! The music today is soul free...

  • 84 people will not be love tomorrow

  • This song talks about a girl that wants to make sure the guy loves her before spreading her legs and nowadays there is a song were the guy just says: You know me, so tonight I'm fucking you!

    Times are A-Changing! ;)

  • i'll always remember this song in the Blue Oyster Bar from Police Academy

  • Why can't we have artists like this nowadays?! Thank you for posting these songs :-) they give me perspective and take me back to a time when music was true music with meaning instead of the bottled crap that's on the airwaves now. What's happened to our culture that we have to have all the hype and flash to call something music?

  • @lggem2005 we did....Amy Winehouse and sucks that she died the way she did.:/ she remade this song.

  • Smooth music to go with such beautiful voices that have continued to echo through many decades and will continue to do so for many more decades to come.....xxxxx

  • Lovely and wonderful orchestral accompaniment. Proper music.

  • man what happened to music, its all about image and influence now not talent...

  • I love this song, but I do find the melody a bit depressing.

  • Too bad this type of music seems gone forever. Now reduced to shouted obscenities over raucus noise in the backgground...what a loss!!!!

  • @Garrulous63 youre entirely right. its all up to poeple like ourselves to keep it alive

  • what lovely song. The Shirelles sing pretty awesome :)

  • Me and my boyfriend still dance around the living room to this song. I'm 35 and he's 28, Long live the oldies.

  • hahahaha......................wipeout!!!!

  • Its Their Song,no one does it better

  • As much as I love Amy Winehouse's cover of this song, it makes me sad that the original has less views. This is a gem. <3

  • RANDY LOVES THIS SONG!!!!!

  • I am only 29 i so love this song !!!! and i love it when they put it in movies !!!

  • can people please stop posting their age? nobody gives a fuck, so stop trying to attract attention and respect because you're young and listening to this

    ok, rant over

  • @mollyadams100 I am so with you on that one. It's like every old video has the same bloody top comment; " I'm (insert young age here) and I hate todays music and love this." It's pathetic, why people give it the thumbs up is beyond me. WE DONOT CARE HOW OLD YOU ARE! and there's my rant over.

  • @mollyadams100 so true. as a 27 year old i don't give a fuck what someone else's age is.

  • Comment removed

  • @mollyadams100 I'm only 24, and I agree that me mentioning that was stupid

  • Those were the days ! The nights too ! Lets be optimistic for the future ! More marketed personalities, songs, bands, and confused ears !

  • Great song!!!!!!!!

  • How can anyone 'dislike' this song???!!!

  • SimplyGH, Dont be silly of course i will.

  • Got to be best pop song ever.

  • oh man, does this song bring back some of my earliest memories... from the perspective of a child, the world seemed so much better back then... funny how a song can take you back to the very spot you were when you first heard it...

thanks so much for putting this one up...

    --Mike

  • I love how this song talks about REAL LOVE and not the stuff we hear today about "loving" someone just for a night and being drunk while doing it and not remembering their name.... welcome to 2011... enjoy your stay...

  • CUDO:))))))))))))))

  • Amy Winehouse gravou esta musica lindamente..Sp/Brasil

  • are they hinting at the day after sex?

  • @cherubicnerd Apparently when it was released some radio stations refused to play it because they felt the lyrics were too sexually charged

  • @Encom7 that's funny. how'd they think they got here,lol.

  • rap is crap2... the sequel....

  • @chickey333 u cant have crap without rap

  • i'm 12, it's 2k11, 83 people missed the like button and i hate justin bieber

  • Angry grandpa

  • I'm so glad there are so many fans of these songs that have taken the time to upload them here. Thank you so much. It's just so neat to be able to come to youtube whenever I want to and hear any one of hundreds of the songs of the '50's and '60's that are forever a big part of my memories of those years.

    Thanks again!!

  • @cottoncandyshoe The sad thing is, this music has almost totally disappeared from radio airwaves. If you want to hear it, you have to seek it out yourself. It's well worth the hunt, but I very much miss just turning on the dial and hearing it pour out from the speakers all by itself. *sigh*

  • But will you love me tomorrow?

  • wish they would play this for the kids today. Good message.

  • @misscarla1962 Same!

  • im doing a work about the history of rock and i wanted to check this song

  • Gostei...

  • im mexican but love this music my favorita musica

  • @bandontherun18 no point in saying one type of music is better than the other or calling other genres crap. i think that this is a great song, but i listen to rap music as well and like many rap songs as well!

  • still love u jody with all my heart my darlin

  • what a pretty voice

  • Like if you have to study this song as part of your music course.

  • thumbs up if u like da song

  • Carol King's reply to besotted Neil Sedaka's Oh Carol. Beautifully sung by the girls and magic because the lyrics were about real feelings.

  • Bardzo ładnie!

  • This sounds like good music to serenade someone. I can't wait until I can myself :)

  • the first in so many ways, the first black female group to get to no1. the first song to talk about pre marital sex aswell as a brilliant tune i love it

  • i am 17.... this is my favorite song!! What is "rap"? I love classic music!

  • @23kcray17 without pissing in your cornflakes it doesnt matter what age you are to enjoy any music

  • @23kcray17 rap is crap haha

  • @23kcray17 rap is crap

  • @23kcray17 Would you like to explain why you favourited an Eamon video, Mr. Awesome Music Taste?

  • @ozena52 Since you are so damn conserned about what is favored on my profile, why don't you find a new hobby and stop looking for flaws in a person? The song by Eamon that is favored on my page is to get over assholes....like you. Did i explain myself well enough for you ;)

  • @23kcray17 Yeah, I guess you showed me. I can't compete with that wit. Have you ever thought about going into politics?

  • @ozena52 haha no! dear lord NO!

  • @ozena52 haha no! dear lord NO! I don't mean to be an ass like i was on the previous comment, but it's flaw of mine when people start questioning when they have no idea who you are.

  • @23kcray17 im 15, and i hate dubstep and prefere this stuff like this

  • @TheJuicyfruitx

WHO CaRES HOW OLD YOU ARE

IT DOESNT MAKE U ANY MORE SPECIAL

  • @TheJuicyfruitx I love it all, I don't get it though when people only listen to dubstep, I like a bit of hip hop, dre and snoop, some rap, eminem, wayne, nicki. some pop, gaga ;) but I still like a little bit of dubstep, bang out the reggae... but a song like this, FUCKING TUNE.

  • @TheJuicyfruitx Well dubstep in america is nothing like dubstep is in Europe or was in its early creation, just like rap, chances are you like a dubstep song

  • @TheJuicyfruitx im getting ready to be 16 and i like isstuff too

  • @TheJuicyfruitx - I don't blame you. I was 12 when that came out and it played the Hit charts until I was 18.

  • @23kcray17 What is rap? Rap is a form of poetry that African-Americans in New York City invented post-Martin Luther King era to orate their views on society during their time.

  • @pandasweater it's also filled with rampant racio-misogyny of black women and internalized racism.

  • @pandasweater rap was also a break off of Hip hop music James Brown is one of the first few artists in hip hop's origin and Coke La Rock is really one of the first true rappers. The artists today, of all genres, write songs to make money, but back in the golden oldies era, artist wrote songs that were moving or touched someone. I'm almost in my 30s and have watched how society has changed with music. Today's music, I think, is one of reasons why people hate so much.

  • @23kcray17 you just dont know good rap there is alot out there that is good not the stuff they play on the radio like little wayne and that shit

  • @23kcray17 ummmm why insult rap to emphasize how much you like this genre of music shit i LOVE rap but nothing puts me in that mood like the old classics ....it's not about one genre vs the other its about learning to appreciate varying types of music and if you REALLY wanna get technical RAP/HIPHOP actually USES the classics songs as sample paying HOMAGE to the older genre what other genre do you know that does that.....this isnt to blow up spot just help you appreciate all music

  • @23kcray17

Rap is a sorry excuse for what it originally was.

Only a few songs are as good as the classic music.

  • @23kcray17 I'm 14 ;P

  • @23kcray17 I'm 14 ;P

  • Blue Oyster gaybar from Police Academy!

  • THIS SONG WILL LAST FOREVER,LISTEN TO THE VIOLINS IN THE BACKGROUND,BEAUTIFUL MUSIC.I FELL IN LOVE TO THIS SONG MORE THAN ONCE....NAVYCOLT41

  • Such fantastic music...memories of good days!

  • im 9 minutes old and I love this music

  • what a song

  • Always in my top 10. The bass cello's give me goose bumps.

  • I believe they've recently had a street named after them in their hometown of Passaic, NJ.

  • They just do not better music and lyrics than this! Shirelles were jut one of the top girl groups of all time.........nothing more to be said!

  • Certainly one of the 100 best pop/rock recordings ever.Probably even one of the best 50.

  • Still one of the greatest songs ever recorded.

  • Big wednesday......

I play my girlfriend "I will kill you" by Cannibal Corpse.

Well, I used to for a while.

She sure looks good with that shovel in her face though.

  • rip doris.

  • fully romantic

    thanx for sharing ^^

  • The....best pop song ever.

  • A long time favourite!...there is a message there, I wonder how many pick it up!!

  • FANTASTIC SONG !!

  • Carole King

  • Nice song, but it always reminds me of John Sullivan's death, since the song is played over the credits of the final episode he ever wrote.

So maybe I can joke that 80 Rock 'n' Chips fans disliked this.

  • good memories

  • WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SONG, i GET EMOTIONAL!

  • but will you love me, tomorrow?

  • Still the best version after all these years & I'll tell you why. Because they don't mess around with it. This is a great song, it doesn't need all the slowing down and so forth. The Shirelles got it right the first time.

  • my friend nicky's mom wrote the lyrics of this classic!!!

  • @royoliver21

carol king wrote this song and she doesn't have any children named Nicky, sorry

  • @royoliver21 Sorry, but this song was written by the team of Carole King and her husband Jerry Goffin, who wrote the lyrics.

  • @royoliver21 carole king then?

  • I wish a group of young people would learn to sing like this and bring back all the oldies from the 50s and 60s. Kind of like Sha Na Na, but better. I think it could be popular with the younger generation if they were exposed to it. This music had so much feeling. I still play it while driving and I sing right along with them.

  • Love this song.

  • Omg Ive Been Tryin To Find Dis Song Since Forever. I 1st Heard It On Dirty Dancing Ugh I Love Dat Movie Jus Like I Love Dis Song.

  • Hey, give the guy in the foyer a break. Love it, hope he never lost his job.

  • cool man

  • In 1960/61 this song was released and Gerry Goffin and Carole King blasted the world with their depth and explendorous talents of doing music to unite people. A sentury has passed and, today, a mand called Shaffer Smith, A.K.A. Ne-Yo - for comercial or whatever reasons clearly declares: "Give me everything tonight, for all we know, we might not get tomorrow..."

    Gosh, how times have changed...

  • good song and music

  • Thumbs up if you heard this on X-Factor!

  • @L1GSXR750 for the first time??? aw mate. go get yourself on itunes look up Phil Spector, Shirelles and Goffin and King and stop watching x factor. Trust me. x

  • 80 people won't be loved tomorrow.

  • wonderful lyrics, but unfortunately I don't think he will love you tomorrow. This is how we " the men" are most of the times.

  • Yepp. I WILL love you tomorrow and to the end of time.............

  • Who would dislike this?

  • @MsFletcher13 probably rocker,hip hoper

  • and also play boy and girls

  • Comment removed

  • it does not matter wot age u r ,classlic tunes no rubbish sang in it

  • Used to play this on the record player until I fell asleep, many more years ago than I care to remember.. love it still x

  • Back in my bedroom 35 years ago, lovely memories :)

  • Kettering Gels..............Jan- big kisses from vic.

  • I love the innocence of the sentiment behind this song. It almost makes the world seem less complicated.

  • @Archin04 Madness goes with his stupidity and ugliness !

  • I've grown up with Oldies (I'm 16) and still to this day, this is the only music I will have on my iPod. Not any of this new crap that people listen to these days.

  • music of 21th century really sucks -- the only good thing about modern times is that we have youtube so we can find a real music of the 50s 60s 70s and 80s -- otherwise we would just be buried in an avalanche of shitty music of today

  • Ah,The real music of the fifties and sixies. Now this was real music. You could actually under stand the words that gave a message! And of course the back up singers with harmony. And the or orchestral in the back ground to top it all off! It sure brings back those good memories.Today's music is not real music, its garabge!

  • @4277BOYCE What about Dream Theater? Gungor? The Killers?

  • @crunchmaster9000 He's old, let him be. He just doesn't understand our music x)

  • @4277BOYCE

Im 18 and I agree with you my friend. This is quality at its highest. I hope this type of music makes a comeback sometime soon. Modern music is not music. It is a guy shouting swear words to a soundtrack that can only be compared to someone smashing pans together...

  • @MrDeano324

I'M impressed at 18 your are unlike most other teenages. You know real music when you hear it..Not the noise of today with every other word M.F. You are above most of your age group. You have class! Good luck to you! You will go far!

  • @MrDeano324

I am 19 and I agree 100% music from the 50's and 60's is real music. The stuff we hear today isn't even talent. With the advancements in technology anyone can make a record, just put a bunch of voice overs on it. I hope music like this comes back!

  • @ken29dra quite obviously we're only aware of the good music, the music that is being remembered from the 50's and 60's. Back then - just like now - there was also loads of stuff that was just shit. In a few years people will say the same thing - early noughties had the best music! no one is talented anymore! actually there are loads of really talented musicians nowadays. The same with everything - writers, painters, musicians. You just have to go out and find!

  • how the hell can they not make music like this nowadays.todays crap is just that.have a nice day folks

  • My vain older brother sings this song to himself in the mirror before he goes to bed.

I am sure he is MAD !!

  • First record I ever bought.

  • Love this song -- Let's all agree that no music is 'trashy' if someone likes it.

  • One of my all time favorites! Loved anything the Shirelles sang.xoxoxo Louis
