how about you get some damn training before u try to fly an ultralight? anyonw who flies anything should be trained for stall-awareness, and this pilot treated that thing like a friggin f-22
when your LIFE is on the line, play it safe. be better trained. 70 feet higher and he EASILY could have died.,..
Pulled back hard first thing you learn to take off they tell you pull back then ease back on the stick once you get up. He just yanked that thing back.
ALWAYS FACE THE WIND GET IT, FACE THE WIND, GET IT , FACE THE WIND GET IT FACE THE WIND GET IT FACE THE WIND GET IT FACE THE WIND GET IT , DID I MENTION TO ALWAYS FACE THE WIND?
I think he backed off the power and held the bar out in fear of this new to him experience. I did this many years ago when learning. The inevitable stall then occured.
Looked like a young kid who was sitting too far back in that poorly designed Sabre seat. He didnt' have enough arms to push out further on the control bar so he stalled out. Glad he wasn't hurt..
He backed off on the power just when he needed it most. Weight shift microlights have no problem with CoG (within reason) Push forwards and as soon as the aircraft leaves the floor let the bar "float", keep the power on and she'll climb. You really should get instruction before you kill yourself ;-) Andy M (Tanarg owner)
Looks like he lacked the proper airspeed for the angle of ascent. He was basically in a short field takeoff situation and needed more room to build airspeed after lifting the wheels off the ground.
so what was the reason of this accident?I don't think so CG problem , angle of attack seems not like too much while taking off!!! take off speed or accleration or engine problems?
and good news no injuries and minor repairs needs.
@3literZ3 may be 46 but he doesnt how to fly an aircraft, if you have loss of power on take of, the first thing that you have to do is, control the aircraft (maintain airspeed) for the next time!!
flying a plane and landing a plane are two different things. Like driving a boat and docking a boat. My 2 year old nephew can drive my speed boat and fly my plane too... but landing or docking??? no way!
No one can fly a trike safely without instruction. Yet people love to try and prove that wrong often enough... The trike in my humble opinion is much harder to fly than an airplane in the begining.
As long as you understand the theory of flight and how a plane's controls work you should have no problem. I started out flying RC model planes. The only time I crashed, even learning is when I started fooling around. A few years later I went for my first flight in a Cessna 185. I had been talking to the pilot before we left the ground about flying my RC planes. He must of been listening. Soon as we got off the ground he let me have the controls. What fun. He said I was a natural.
@easygtr good advice, will concentrate on my own flying and stay away from these types of videos. I have never had problems with takeoffs except for my first lesson. After that I always thought takeoffs were kind of fun. Takeoff at full throttle and climb to about 1000 ft. So I thing I will have one more lesson and try and do my solo this summer. Thanks for the advice.
about to do my solo in my Sabre, what do you think went wrong. I have about 10 takeoffs with an instructor and always thought that part was easy but now I am not sure. Like to know what you felt during takeoff so I might know what to expect.
@Berkner80 Subconscious is a big thing. Did u ever question your self why you always got away with minor injuries from a bike crush when you were a kid? It is because of the subconscious. Stop watching videos that says crashes and stuff. By the way it is amazing how many people watch this (including me sometimes)
This are nit my words by the words of a great pilot who happened to be my trainer.
I am glad the guy on this video got away with this. Take care and fly safe
Слава Богу, что это произошло при отрыве, а не на высоте! Последствия были бы куда печальнее.

Megnéztem többször is a videót.
Nagyon blama. A pilóta teljesen leblokkolt, pedig a gép egyértelműen elkezdett kitörni jobbra.
Jártam én is így. Intenzív, de nem durva kormánymozdulattal helyre lehetett volna rakni.
