I worked with Hunter on a project once and had to speak with him on the phone. He was dead drunk and I couldn't understand a word he was saying. John Cusack was in the kitchen with Hunter, equally drunk and egging him on. Finally Hunter freaked out and started screaming at Anita. Fuck John Cusack. He's an asshole.

This isn't an interview about Cusack, it's about Hunter. As for him playing the same role, many actors play the same role. They are a character actor, Cusack is just good at his character he plays. He's fun to watch... even if hes redundant.

acctually he plays a wide variety of charachters. sure in the 80's he played alot of dorky/sappy guys but from the 90's up he's done a whole variety of charachters...depressed ones,hitmen,scam artists, writers,obsesive ones, war hero's, cops, baseball players, criminals
