technically blur was not even a one hit wonder in the U.S. A song must make to the Billboard Top 40 to be considered a hit. Song 2 was a radio hit. This was their highest charting song at #87. It's a pretty awesome song. Anyways, it doesn't matter if they had little success in the US because they were enormous in the UK.

label at the time pushing them to make a "stone roses" single. Parklife album is very good, and besides that Albarn did go on to do Gorillaz. Not like the Gallagher's were he sat on his duff licked his bullocks and did nothing. Blur never had their "wonderwall" though.
Some of the best shows back then were the La's, Charlatans UK, Blur, Mega City Four, Levellers, Ned's Atomic Dustbin, Carter USM, Inspiral Carpets and others I can't remember. The Stone Roses were always rumored to be coming but didn't make it out until they played L.A. in the mid-90s.
It was too bad for the bands that they didn't draw bigger crowds, but it was great seeing them in intimate settings.

technically blur was not even a one hit wonder in the U.S. A song must make to the Billboard Top 40 to be considered a hit. Song 2 was a radio hit. This was their highest charting song at #87. It's a pretty awesome song. Anyways, it doesn't matter if they had little success in the US because they were enormous in the UK.

Some of the best shows back then were the La's, Charlatans UK, Blur, Mega City Four, Levellers, Ned's Atomic Dustbin, Carter USM, Inspiral Carpets and others I can't remember. The Stone Roses were always rumored to be coming but didn't make it out until they played L.A. in the mid-90s.
It was too bad for the bands that they didn't draw bigger crowds, but it was great seeing them in intimate settings.
