And a simple steering wheel in their hands and a simple electronic at their desks.

That was racing.

@Sokra01 In 1986 try over 1,200hp in qualifying & 1,000hp in the race from the 1.5L turbo F1's

Was it racing? Fuel economy runs is more to the point.
