After many days of trying to do this level on the PS3 I broke 2 controllers, could never make it from under the short tunel / overhang to the roof of the last building before shooting the people around the sub, so never got a darn ckeck point which means doing the whole area from scratch and in under 2 mins AAGGHHHHH !!! Like th fast video if only some parts of the game were like this, the slow walking / running being a "oh come on" saga.

I finished everything on veteran(including campaign) except in Echo of Specs ops.

for the last part.during the timer.Use the predator drone to destroy the helo and shoot the two guards with auto-rifles(20 secs).then go to the right and kill two more guards nearer to the container.then go out through the doorway nearby. fire the enemies on the road.(30secs) Keep right! and run like hell with a machine gun till you reach the guard tower where the timer stops.(cant remember)

its better if you go round to the far right take out the tangos with the UAV as you crouch by a snow mount by the far right building and at the end i found it easier to go all the way right then sprint towards the jeep right next to the sub

@Jadeslair FYI, one version of youtube(html5) allows u to speed up the vid up to 2x or slow down to 1/4. You speeding it up only got me confused so I'm jumping to another walkthrough.

@hjpro153 I had died a couple of times before I got that save point. I had gotten almost to the water three times withou it giving me the save point. This time I took a slightly different path, maybe that is what did it. good luck

dc was under heavy fire from helicopters and whatever and there wasnt much left veichhaly to deal with them, so by firing the missle and detonating it over dc he disabled the russian helicopters and tanks and the americans managed to hold DC

With the last 2 minute time limit, I always....[ALWAYS!!] get about 8 - 5m (with about 5 seconds remaining) away from the checkpoint, and then -SLICK- !! Some bastard comes behind me and stabs me...dead... >:((

if this way doesn't work then try going to the right. use a noob tub or rocket launcher to take out the truck with troops and run like heck.

Indeed. Now I'm running into another issue on this level. Everytime I get right next to the sub, I see on the corner of the screen, that I've reached the "check point". And usually about a second or two later, I die. But I never start at the new check point. It's happened 5 times now, WTF???!??!! So back to the damn 2 minute drill again! Just frustrating...

I dont know if its a gliche but every time I play this level I still maintain the use of the predator missle.Durring the beging sections im able to use the missle which is a hell of a lot easier than hiding behing houses and picking men off one by one(3-4:50)

just a litle tip for you when you 1st use the pred you can take out both SAMS befor they launce there missile's but you have to be quick aim then hit boost striaght away and direct the pred at the 1st SAM you see both will blow up then you can use the pred on the btr and mobiles when you get to the sub part. good luck

what I do is use the rpg to take the heli out first (before it takes off), then use the predator to take out bpc. then all you have to do is kill the enemies.

Yes soon as mission starts use the predator drone and aim for the petrol tank as the apc is in front of hell i2 for price of 1 ( saves trouble later on)

what i did is go for the 2 for 1 atthe start then grenade the ppl at the gate down the hill then wait till the drone comes again bomb like 2-3 guys around the flank of the shipping containers and then after that wait till price comes up then fuckin nigger bolt over to the other side where all the tankers and shit are all blown up and pick off anny one you can then drone the ppl on the other side and run though it and you shodul get a checkpoint when you exit the over headcover its pure luck imho

The area has to be clear around you to get a checkpoint, got one right before the tank bpc or whatever.

by the sub is the first checkpoint, it is not an easy level. You have to get a system down.

You could try the right side(although there is less cover), use the missles to take the transport trucks or grab the rpg. also don't forget about the apc.
