it's possible it's a U.S. pilot. The U.S. Marine Corps have AV-8B the American license-built version of the British Harrier. It's hard to tell them apart but the paint scheme is very different. Harriers tend to be O.D. colour while AV-8s tend to be gun-metal grey. It's hard to read any insignia on the aircraft in this clip but it looks like the RAF roundel is missing from the side of the air intake where it normally is. I'd guess it was an AV-8B, an U.S. Marine Corps Harrier variant.

Also, British harriers aren't painted OD anymore. They're almost always grey just like the Marine Corps ones.

i think you will find that the RAF and the RN now opperate the same gr7 aircraft as the navy harrier was taken out of service last year. The video was filmed in afgan not iraq i khow i was there. the original jets out there were raf which would explain the markings but the personel swop over every 6 months or so, and it makes no sense to fly the jets all the way back to the uk to fly out a new set of a/c with different markings.
