  • Usodaaaa!!! ^^

  • It heard like "Your father is me " not "I am your father".

  • The comments have made me realize something. It doesn't matter how much Japanese voice actors overact or exaggerate emotions, even if it affects the essence of a character. The weebs will still eat it up and proclaim the Japanese version to always be the best.

  • @liveFinalFantasy I actually don't like it. :P And not just because these 2 are over-used voice actors, but because it's just plain shit. :3

  • @liveFinalFantasy it's because every English speaking person on the internet is a Japanese weebo (even if they don't know it themselves). Ironically, the Japanese think anything dubbed in English is superior to Jap

  • Have the voice actors been in anything else?

  • Even as japanese Vader still kicks ass!

  • USE SODA!!!

  • vader in japan sounds far more agressive that he actually is... don't get me wrong but to me vader was always that guy who knows what he is doing and is calm utill otherwise neccisary

  • Luke's voice is the same as Yagami Light from Death Note.

  • it is not micsodaa or mosodaa

    it is uso da

  • Luke, you bring great dishoner to empire. YOU KILL YOURSELF NOW!

  • Comment removed

  • Wow, this is like an Live-Action Anime!

  • bla bla bla bla bla

  • MOSODAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!

  • @Vadamur * uso da. It means "it's a lie".

  • @xxxDeadCatxxx yes i got it:) it just sounds a bit similar to a Hungarian word, which means laundry :D and it's funny for me

  • @Vadamur laundry

    disrespectful

  • @hikikomORIGIN Sorry but I don't really understand what you say :S anyway I love Japanese language :D

  • @Vadamur Nowhere near similar, get your ears checked. -_-

  • Luv how long it takes them to say no

    Lol XD

  • Akinek nem tűnt volna fel:

    1:12

  • USODAAAAAAAA !!!!!! (NOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!)

  • OMAE NO CHICHI WA WASHI DA!!!

We need Norio Wakamoto to say this line.

  • "Omae no chichi wa washi da"

    Literal translation

    "Your father is me!"

    It's a japanese syntax highlighting.

  • Wow, even in non-Japanese productions, the Japanese dub pwns all.

  • Wakizashi honda, yamato katana, suzuki mitsubishi. Fujitsu.

  • migi no te wo kiru

  • Noooooo it's over!! I want to see the movies again in Japanese! It sounds more cooler! Thanks @Ohlimm. I agree with @LOTRTotalwarMan that his samurai talk is so cool #DarthSamurai #StarWars

  • uuuuuuhhhhwhheeeeee just awesome xD

  • Darth Vader= Samurai

  • XD

  • Mort de rire :'-)

  • The Japanese Version sound great.

  • Now I can die in peace.

Már legalább boldogan halhatok meg. :D

  • Omae no chichi wa washi da!! D:< USO DAAAAAA DDDDDDDDDDD':

  • Luke sounds way less whiny in this version xD

  • This must be the funniest and coolest thing I've ever seen!!!!! how come I never thought of watching it in japanese, I love japanese!

  • Misodaaa :D

  • Like an old Japanse movie!

  • lol why does use washi

  • 0:16-nál mi az a

    lu kkkk ?? xD

  • @TheMrcybergoth lukkkk.. you get house arrest for that

  • Mennyi magyar... :)

  • 1:11 Darth: CHIYO, Owaynochichiowashida!

  • Hmm...I would argue that his Japanese voice actor emotes too much. I much prefer the English version's darker, more subtle approach. In the Japanese version he sounds like he's trying way too hard.

  • Fun Fact: Norio Wakamoto plays Lando in the Japanese dub. Fellow anime fans I have to ask; wouldn't Wakamoto have been a better fit?

  • Darth Vader's voice actor had it easy. no lip-flap

  • Slovak version is the best. Star Wars, western films, or Terminator :)

  • Now that I look at it, Darth Vader looks like a samurai warrior.

  • @zolis2x Indeed, his costume design was originally based on samurai armor!

  • Darth with that voice; awesome.

  • 1:28 -nál olyan, mintha azt kiabálná: MICSODAAAAAAAAAAAAA? XD

  • 1:30

That USO DA sounds so freaking wrong... x'D

  • lohohool

  • the german version is bad ass this one feels to false.

  • Fucked the film

  • Shit. German Voice is better.

  • Star Wars - Naruto style

    :-)

  • That is actually awesome! Japanese are really good at dubbing. Their animation voice actors are the best in the world

  • Even in a different language i get goosebumps!

  • It's better than original xd.

  • 1:07

[DASU BEDA]: CHIGAU, NOOB! Omae no chichi_wa watashi da!

[RUKU]: O.O ... USUDOOAAAA.... usudaaaa...! xO

  • @TheBigBoss94ITA its washi not watashi

  • @Saroku12 "Washi" is the Samurai's common first person.

This word is rarely used by old men even in modern.

There is another first person of Samurai "Sessha".

"Sessha" is used at formal case.

  • Everything should be in japanese!

  • A classic scene in either language.

  • RUKE, AIMU AR YUR OTOSAN....

  • USO DA

  • Nakata Jouji should be Darth Vader.

  • Comment removed

  • NANI!!!!

  • Ruke, I am your father!

  • Daumen hoch wenn ihr es LOL findet

  • Jar jar binks language

  • Did you guys know that vader's suit was originally inspired by a samurai armor?

  • I loved this. But the English version still holds a more connected place in my heart. It was first and this was still just as good in it's own way.

  • well, considering this was inspired by the film hidden fortress, I guess I can't complain. full circle

  • I pasted 「お前の父は私だ」 into Google Translate and it says: "You're my father". :)

  • @acsodalatosmandarin It's technically "Your father is me" If you translate it directly to English from left to right. Omae is "you", no is a possessive form, chichi is father, wa is the subject indicator, and washi da is "I am"

  • @jakfolisto OK, thanks, I have been learning some Japanese, so I could figure out the structure of the sentence, just wanted to make fun out of Google Translate. I find it so cute, that the old fella addresses himself with "washi". Poor old Darth Vader. :)

  • it sounds so epic

  • Wow, Vader sounds like a badass samurai.

  • @4dIer Any samurai can sound bad ass if they continuously say "Omai" . Which i think translate into You Are, or You

  • @JakariHanma omae is the same as anata, kimi or temae, compared to anata it is not as polite.

  • LOL i didn't understand that part :D

  • it fits so good!

  • thumbs up if you want a Star Wars Anime

  • 1:28 :D:D:D

  • Anyone know where I can buy American Movies spoken in Japanese like this scene?

  • @mattosso83, in Japan

  • @mattosso83

    In Japan?!

  • USO DA!!

  • luke sounds like a teenager

  • horoishidi hai gorina noridi

  • D. Vader....He sounds like 'JUMBA' !! 0.0;

  • ... that's it, I'm so hunting down the Japanese dub of the whole series.

  • When I heard it in Japanese it reminded me to much of the poor effects and costumes of Power Rangers or something like that for some reason XD Which is weird because its no japanese serial.

  • I shall now re-watch every movie I've ever seen, in Japanese.

  • first he gives him some bare punches in the face, than he cuts off his hand and says:im your father!!! awesome relationship .__.

  • Luke sounds slightly younger in the japanese dub.

  • Darth Vader sounds like shit.

  • This Darth Vador sounds a little too much emotional to me.

  • :16 "Doh!"

  • @sachinmistry1 I love this "DOH!" xD

  • Whose Vader? XD

  • He sounds like Light from Death Note or is it just me?

  • LIAR!!! it is more fit:)

  • hmm..funny how this sounds better than the original. :D I might've actually liked it if I'd seen this first...lol

  • Wow pretty good dub.

  • Every time I hear uso da, I think of Higurashi.

  • @discolives79ify ME TOO BRO! Rena's Catch Phrase ^_^

  • Star Wars should be an anime...

  • @narrat0r12 There is an official Manga.

  • @VegetaTheInsanity Yeah, I know, I read it. It just annoys me that they used the exact same lines from the movies in it.

  • @narrat0r12 Well it is supposed to be a manga adaptation not a entirely different work on it's own. You can't call it Star Wars if it doesn't follow the original.

  • @narrat0r12 Never...

  • omae no chichi washi da

  • Luke sounds cute in any language! XD

  • who did Vader's voice? It sounds so familiar....

  • USOOOO DAAAAAAA

  • By the way it's Omae no chichi o washi da.

  • @qulbutoslut

"Omae no chichi wa washi da.

  • Out of context, this could be interpreted as "your father is an eagle" or "your father is paper".

  • itsadooooor! itsadooooor!

  • Lol Luke saying Noo! Sounded like "He so dumb! He so duuuuuuumb!"

  • @zombehpwnzor Actually he was saying Usoda, meaning "liar".

  • @narrat0r12

"uso da" doesn't mean "liar." It means "that's a lie," "that's not true," "no way," etc.

  • @aredesuyo Well, that was basically what it meant in general, proclaiming that something is not true.

  • Omae no chichi washi da!

  • Vader speaking Japanese? One Word: WIN!

  • I would really see them eating a sushi meal :D

    Awesome video anyway :))

  • AMAZING DUB! :D

  • Luke sounds like a Anime Guy

  • @Armordude91122Cute I was about to say lol...........this is like watching a live action anime.

  • Vader was great in this Japanese dub.

    Luke though? Eh...

  • Vader in Japanese sounded like an Ultraman.

  • Also acceptable: Omae no chinchin wa shinda!

  • let's face it - you can't fail a japanese dub of star wars - and if you do.... you'll shit brix

  • Sugoi! Awesome!

  • Japanese Vader sounds like a really nice guy.

  • uso daaaaaaaaaa!!!

  • Awesome Japanese dub! I wish they could make this available for American releases!

  • @MDthornton83 There is always chance that a re-re-re-re-re-release might have that option.... they have it for the Dragonball Z Movies..

  • This is so cool! Instead of re-releasing different versions of the original Star Wars trilogy, they should put different dubs of Star Wars like this Japanese dub. This dub is really good! I would definitely watch the Star Wars movies in Japanese, in fact they should put it with English subtitles.

  • MOHAYA NIGE RAREN. OMAE WO KOROSI TAKUHA NAI.

LUKE... OMAE HA MIZUKARA NO KATI NI KIZUITE ORAN.

  • OMAE NO MAKEDA. MUDA NA TEIKO HA YOSE. KIZUTUKUDAKE SONDA. KOHUKU SIRO!

  • Deserves WAY more views...

  • OG OMG OMG OMG!!!! I ACTUALLY FOUND IT!!!!
