Damn, this video course is expensive. But John and Martha's course have helped me thru all my exams so far (100% on private, 93% on instrument, 100% on commercial). Provided you can get past the outdated stock footage from 1983 with mullet-bearing controllers hunched over radar screens, the courses really do help.
I didn't watch this one yet, but I used their DVD course for my IFR written and got a 90. (I also attended a weekend prep class for the written, but that was just icing on the cake.
I don't have the video, but I wish I did. I have to learn the 430w for my IFR rating (ours is WAAS enabled). I used the flight plan function for my flight to Block Island RI and it couldn't have been more helpful.

Just got checked out in an arrow which has the 430 garmin in it. I bought the manual but takes forever to read it. How is kings dvd on it?
