@SuperKingNNN The Fusion Engine and complete PR-15 rifles are available and on sale now at many airsoft retailers (Amped Airsoft, ASGI, Evike, Shorty USA,etc). MSRP for the Fusion Engine is USD450.
I just have one question, well actually two, will there be varying types of fusion engines like version 3 style, and when will it come out? Also, will the fusion engine fit into a G&G combat machine?
@DatGuyWhoDidDatTing We will be releasing a V3 by next year. The current Fusion Engine for V2 gearboxes should have no trouble fitting into a G&G Combat machine AEG.
What I like about this gun is how versatile it is; you have more ROF and more FPS on tap than you'd ever need, and you can dial in any combo of the two you want, without changing springs, motors, gears, batteries, etc. It's expensive, but you could have a DMR, Sniper rifle, field gun and CQB gun in one piece. Very cool product
@MrMonkekekeMan "Open Bolt" refers to the normal AEG firing cycle: Nozzle retracts, round is fed, nozzle returns, round is fired immediately after. Due to the AEG mag/hopup design, the time this cycle actually takes (BB to be placed completely in the bucking) can vary each shot. Since the piston release (when the BB is fired) is fixed relative to the tappet release but the timing is variable, the BB may not be consistently seated from shot to shot.
@MrMonkekekeMan Having to feed first before firing is also what is translates into trigger response times. Faster cycling means better response times, but there will always be some delay since the round must be fed before firing.
In "Closed Bolt" mode, the round is fired first, then the nozzle cycles to feed the next round. No delay in semi and the round is given time to seat consistently each shot.
And I thought my KWA Mac 11 was fast, it's only like 300fps and 22rps. But 400fps at 40rps sounds like heaven to me, well as long as I'm not on the recieving end of it. Lol
How much air would I need to make a minigun and run through a 35,000 round backpack setup? I have made an aeg minigun which holds 20,000 but I am looking into making another.
@GVMeNProDucTionS Shot count will be determined by the tank volume, tank pressure and operating pressure. A very conservative calculation is (Tank Capacity) x (Tank Pressure/100) = Shots. For example, in one of the least efficient setups an 88ci / 4500psi tank would be 88 x 45 = 3960 shots at 110psi (400fps w/ .2g in a CQBR).
Will this fit into a KWA 2gx receiver?

on your face book page it says the Fusion Engine can be open bolt or closed bolt...what does this mean for airsoft?
