@batbitca its because the Muppeteers performing them are right handed. trying to operate the puppet's right hand with their own left puts them in awkward positions it's simply easier to make the puppet left handed.

My first exposure to Linda was her performance as Maybell in The Pirates of Penzance. She does have a great voice.
