I on the other hand need tons of it because my hair texture on the sides is different from the top of my head.  Within minutes my sides and back that are cut low will get wavy and curly while the rest of my head is bone straight. I'm seriously thinking of cutting them a little shorter like a fade so I can keep my sanity. I might purchase Hick's edges again but it's $14 per jar.

@theQUEENdiamond1 hey, i know u didnt ask me but i have a similar hair style and it does the same thing to me. try the aloe vera gel from proclaim. its n a huge jar, less expensive, and non-greasy. it doesnt melt, flake, or get really hard. i love it. just put it on like jam and the tye it down. let it dry n ull b good! also, it doesnt break me out like the jam does after it starts to melt around my face. i hope this helps
