I first saw this girl in Sweeney Todd, I think that was her best part to date, I just love Tim Burton's vision, his style of film-making and his imagination, his way of bringing his vision onto the screen is brilliant and he has a really brilliant ability to make people appear on screen in a completely new light. Does anyone know if thsi movie was any good by the way? I think she has odd features, she has a baby kind of face and a really tiny nose and a really tiny mouth and thin lips.

Tim Burton loves girls with enourmous eyes. He use to say that he looks for actresses with that exotical kind of beauty from old silent movies: girls with huge and expressive eyes, a very pale skin, with a childish and defenseless appearance. Jayne fits this profile pefectly, don't you think? ;-)

Yes I definitely agree and I think Tim captures that kind of look perfectly I think Jayne really has that look going and so does Christina Ricci, they huge expressive eyes and the very porcelain white skin and baby sort of features. I think he has greast taste in casting.
