I throw a 75 mph fastball and a 12-6 curveball that drops 3 and half feet. if you throw at least a 67 mph or faster fastball; your arm should be strong enough or your delivery uses your body enough not to hurt your arm so you should be fine.

This is exactly how I threw my curve back when I played as a teenager. I never known it to be refered to as a "12-6" curve and no one ever taught me this pitch. It was something I had figured out on my own. But I used to devastate hitters with it. I never had much of a fastball which is why I never played beyond high school. But I used to be a monster on the mound cause of this very pitch. No one could hit it and at my best I had led my league in strikeouts. Oh the glory days, lol.
