I live i the Netherlands. Now are there any plans whatsoever to distribute this product over the globe? And is it possible to just implant Scenesse in your skin and just leave it, or is it only effective when in combination with the UV therapy? Thanks in advance
At present the drug is not available to purchase. We are testing the drug alongside NB-UVB but have no clinical evidence at present that the drug is effective and safe for use in vitiligo. Once we have conducted our trials, we will be able to provide more information. Have a look at the weblink posted below the video and you will find a FAQ document on our program.
Pharmaceutical drugs in NZ are regulated by Medsafe. At present this is a separate entity to the Australian TGA, but work is underway to merge the two organisations and harmonise applications. Have a look at the TGA's website, search for "Australia New Zealand Therapeutic Products Agency (ANZTPA) fact sheet".
SCENESSE (afamelanotide) is still in clinical trials and isn't available to purchase at present. To keep abreast with updates to the program head to the link posted just below our video or check out our sites on Facebook (search for Clinuvel).

omg there is hope :) I just recently started getting this and it is spreading pretty bad on my legs around my thigh and a little more in the upper are and it makes me feel very insecure and sad.... i also have it on my eyelid and its getting bigger! please can you message me more infor on this? How can I get this treatment before it gets worst ???? Thank you

Hi just a quick question. If you gain TGA approval will this allow you to market and distribute the product in New Zealand as well?
Also congrats on such an innovative product that seems to have the potential to help many.

@Zingrz - sorry, there are no Australian trials planned just yet. Our initial focus is Europe/US for the first stage of the studies.
