Makes me want to take a physics course. Another cool air pressure demonstration that your class might like is...
1) Place a ruler on the side of a desk so that half of it is hanging off the edge. Cover the half of the ruler that's not hanging off the edge with one sheet of unfolded newspaper. Hit the part of the ruler that's hanging off as hard as you can and to the class's astonishment, the ruler breaks, but the newspaper doesn't rip.
