  • Thanks for this video; exactly what I was looking for. =)

  • I dont get one thing, see how enzymes do not change in a reactin, then what do you call the binding or release of the enzymes when a substrate is put in its place

  • 3. This does not take place in a vacuum. All the spaces between the enzymes and the substrates are filled solid with othe substrates and water molecules - all dancing around, jumping back and forth and getting in each others' way.

    4. Every time one product wanders off in the wrong direction, that is the end of that series of reactions - and the result is zero.

  • Enzyme catalysis is bunk because:-

    1. There is nothing to guide the enzymes to the substrates for any reaction to take place. Buffeted by the heat dance they move around at random. It might take seconds or even minutes for the right enzyme to just happen to come together with the substrates. That statistical happening of three bodies coming together rightly is a low order of probability.

    2. Enzymes are involved in continuous dynamic turnover, most of the time they are non-functional.

  • Thank you so much. Your video is very well

  • you spelt enzyme incorrecty in the title..

  • You didn't relate it or explain anything about activation energy.

  • Thanx for posting =)
