Is your TC Electronic's chorus in switch #2 a true bypass unit? I think at least some TC units are.  TB is notorious for that annoying pop when you first turn switch them in. I'd bet a buck that what it is. You probably won't even notice it when you kick it in on the fly.

how do you use the noise supressor? do you use it with the loop? I was thinking about getting a octaswitch, but don't know how to use it with the noise supressor since i use the loop with my 3 overdrive/distortion pedals...

hey man, that was a very in depth video... I've heard of a few cases of the random pop noise. there's one guy called Jamie Ice from 'green river ordinance', and he got rid of his pop issue by changing to a different power supply.

he was previously using two pedal power2+, although he wasn't using a octa-switch, he was using a musicomlabs efx mkII

I have the octaswitch and find the input and output combersome because the octaswitch should be on the front of the pedal board however the in and the out are on the back panel of the switch and it runs into the pedals I have on the board. How do I solve this problem?

How portable would you say a pedalboard of this size is? Im looking to add a few pedals to my board (bringing the total to 8 pedals) but im concerned about how easy it will be to take to my drummers house and gigs. I dont want to spend hours setting up and taking apart my board.

Is that Vibe pedal in the loop of the amp? Cause it sounds like it... Try to put it in front of the amp, if that's the case. I personally like it better like that.

@borgass83 With the Octaswitch you can only switch between combinations of whatever pedals are in the 8 loops available. A similar unit that does the same thing, but adds amp control, a buffer and midi control is the Musicomlab EFX MKIII. It's pricey, but it controls an entire pedalboard, rack gear and handles amp channel switching all from a unit about half the size of the octa-switch.

TECHNICALLY THE OCTASWITCH CAN'T BYPASS. BUT YOU CAN SET ONE OF THE BANKS SO THAT ALL OF THE LOOPS ARE OFF...WHICH MEANS IT WILL BE TRUE BYPASSED
