I think its just a light hearted MV aimed a paying some form of tribute to Pulp Fiction. The song's alright, the rap can be improved in terms of the words used. The dancing is kind of wide off the mark as compared to Pulp Fiction but there is nothing much else that can actually touch that dance scene in PF. Not even the same actors after ten years.
Lower your expectations and the MV is just about decent. Not even Fiona's cuteness can save this MV though I like to think it did.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. The rap is horrible. Doesn't go with the song, and I am sorry he is not "like the king of the hood," and I doubt he could spend a single night there without wetting his pants while calling the police.
This video/song is so bad. I am so disappointed. Where to start? First, the guitar rifts is a knock off of a famous 1970's rock song (I forgot by who, but it WILL come to me). The Pulp Fiction interpretation made me cringe. The acting was bad and completely missed the essence of the part in the movie. During the milkshake/dance scene you are supposed to feel some sort connection, but this MV totally fails. Sorry Quentin Taurintino, P-L-E-A-S-E forgive Datong's trespasses!!!
