That should be several million years. The most they could do is have the same plotline in another time period, maybe when humans really need to be killed off, yet they have the technology to fight her powers anyway. She could find another human just like Takeru, but instead of Takeru 2 helping to keep(continued)
the world intact, he could help fix it. There could be an actual antagonist (some shady military leader) who has powers kinda like Takeru. Then Hikari and Takeru 2 have to defeat him together. Takeru 2 will be mortally wounded, and will go with Hikari the next time she leaves, unlike the original Takeru.

Theres only 12 episodes, unfortunately...Did Netflix tell you that there were 24 episodes? It told me that and when the episode 12 preview said it was the final episode I was so mad since they messed up like that >:(
I just got done watching this series again. When life turns for the worst, which mine has nearly hit rock bottom, I find this series be so uplifting that I cannot help but remember what it is like to smile and laugh aloud again.
This is one of my most favorite animes. It was so sad that Hikari and Akari left. It would have been better if they stayed. I hate how people say Ryo and Akari should have got married. She was 13 and Ryo was 16 I think. Besides, Akari was family, not a love. This is THE best anime in the WORLD I think....I thought Mari would have been Hikari after Hikari left or something...lol

I think this was the best anime I've ever seen. The story was well thought-out, the ending was great (unlike in many anime series), the characters weren't so superficial as in some other series. On top of that this nice opening song. I really enjoyed it, and I'll recommend it to anyone (over 16, haha).
@Jackkeaton I'm with you on that. i really wished that they could of stayed together. the ending threw me off because it wasn't like most here they do get to be with one another. I wish they had more episodes.

I now have to watch this. And I don't see why Naruto and Bleach, are the shows that everyone is having a Jizzfest over, Those two shows suck [My opinion] As far as I'm concerned, I only watch Bleach when I'm pouring it on my Whites. And Naruto, I only watch it for the theme songs and Endings.

@KiraYamatoGXX did you know the artist's first name is YOUKO ? There is a u in there. I know because I got this song on my Ipod. Coincidentaly there is also an artist named Yoko Takahashi who did work on ugly yet beautiful world, but Metamorphose is not under her name.
