The crow looks awesome, dude!!! From the looks of it, your work is black ink. I prefer that as well, all other colors seem to fade in time. I Severely miss getting inked, i haven't had any work done since '98....for years i been thinking of getting a haunted forest scene done on my upper left arm.

@deanomac24 You could totally handle it I bet--no worries.  Make sure you find a good artist and look through their portfolio. Play it smart and you'll have a great piece!

Does it hurt? my wife has 2 of them she says its like a hot knife cutting your skin hmm if that doesnt evoke cofidence i dont knoe what does lol.

@deanomac24 It does hurt, but it's not really that bad. I've found that the outline is the worst (smaller area for the needles to pierce, so I found out this time) and it is worse if it is going over thin skin (top of shoulder, inside of arm, etc.) or over bone. I think the best way to describe it is like a strong pinching that drags across your skin for several seconds. Shading (the 7+ needles) is actually not bad at all--I didn't think that hurt a bit, even though it looked much scarier! LOL
