well... give her some credit for the effort. she is superb in everything else she has sung. the role is not quite in her voice, let alone the "spanish flavor." she admitted in an interview with jürgen kesting, "mir fliegen koloraturen nicht zu..." i cannot believe we are all such harsh couch critics!

she isnt up to everything technically, but she compensates with some really nice top notes, extremely energetic singing, and although everyone in this video is outstanding in the acting department, none of them are nearly on her level.

C'est la seule chose que je regrette vraiment qu'elle ait chantée! :-( Où sont les notes piquées, les vocalises(!), et la justesse? Malgré sa beauté, ici, ça ne va peut pas convenir.
