the next cod should have a double barreled semi auto shotgun with akimbo as long as its no worse then the AA-12. ill be find with its range and damage but to make up for it it should have the most pellets per shot, fastest fire rate, the biggest magazine size, fastest reload, better spread, smg hip fire cross hairs and lowest recoil( also fastest center speed) of the shotguns.

@koelewim lol yea it does and its called cocking. i use slight of hand with shotguns that reload by single shells such as the ksg and striker, but i wouldn't use it for guns that have magazines like the aa12 or USAS

I love the spas 12. Used it the whole way through my Non prestige levels and levelled all the way, I agree with damage over range on this particular weapon. I find assassin pro is excellent for shotgun. Thanks for your tips also.

i wish they brought back the m1014 from mw2. i had all 1000 headshots with that gun and eventually got a feel for how to hip fire head shot. in mw3 i will use the striker or spas but dont really like either or see myself putting in the time on the gun to get as good as i was with the m1014

The SPAS-12 in MW3 has the same sound as the MW2/CoD4 M1014 iin first person, and sounds the same as the CoD4 W1200 in third person :) Thumbs up if you miss those guys :)

The spas 12 in MW2 has a range of a little under 18 meters, as does its counterpart in MW3.

The Spas 12 has never been overpowered.

In real life its effective range is 30-40 meters without slugs; with slugs its range can be increased dramatically.

All shotguns in call of duty are underpowered, even the akimbo models pre-patch and the Striker pre-patch were underpowered compared to real life.

@rtday67 yea, ever tried the range glitch? all u have to do is have 2 players put down a T.I then have one of the players kill the other and vice versa, make sure u move back a meter and put down a T.I and keep doing it till the gun requires 2 shots to kill. youll notice the difference then

Optimized Spas (Ext Mags + Damage): 35-7 (x12) = (420-84)

I find the Model to be much more consistent.

the ksg only reloads through the end of the gun because there are two places to add shells to the gun and it is supposed to have 14 shells in (not counting one in chamber) and 7 shells go into each spot but iw has the animation for just the back feeding chamber

In my opinion you should put damage on any Pump/Lever Action shotgun due to the fact that it is less likely to get another shot off and getting more 1 hit kills with it is just easier. Range should be put on any semi auto or fully auto guns because they usually take 2 or more shots anyways.
