Tibet was not an independent "country" but more of an independent state of China.

Throughout several dynasties, Tibet and other non-Han ethnic leaders will need to seek Chinese Emperors' support/permission to make their rule "official". The central government's political decisions can jeopardize their power.

Tibet was never a part of china. The Manchu Qing dynasty was under the Mongol Yuan dynasty, the second foreign domination dynasty of China. Please do not confuse it with PRChina.

Sorry this video is a joke. And the guy posting this does what they do best: twist history and spin the facts around.

Tibet has been part of China since the 13th century. It doesnt matter how you call it "Yo chon" or whatever. Fact is, the power lied with the mongols whos main capital (center of power) was in Beijing. After they were overthrow, the Ming dynasty held complete power, including over Tibet. So did the Ching dynasty up until the 20th century.

So you just lied.

As for Mao's saying they owned a debt. That is true. When they were being hunted, they were rescued and helped by the Tibetans whom you call "locals" but were actually SLAVES owned by your fathers. Mao saw with his own eyes the mistreatment of these people and the horrible circumstances they lived in. And he said he would rescue them from the horrors your fathers did to them. And so he did. In 1950 he finally came and liberated them and freed them from the BRUTAL FEUDAL THEOCRACY that WAS Tibet.
