Surely he could of recorded the mix then layed it down over the original audio.....Duh !! ......Go Figure.

I would agree with you on the Mac over PC advice. Mac is much better than PC for many reasons. They cost more but they are worth every penny. As for CD turntables, I would suggest the CDJ-1000. Also, use Serato or Traktor. VDJ is not the best if you want to go pro.

Mac is worth every penny. Yeah i would fo with Serato but i didnt care atm. Virtual dj isnt really as good as Serato or Traktor. but if i was into scraching and hiphop music i would certainly go with the Traktor. But for most music like me 'hardstyle' i would go with Serato because its more consecrated when it comes to these equpiment.

ok if you are going to used timecodes get a Mac.

Mac heaps better then a pc laptop because Pc's have a delay when they are connected to timecodes. Soo i Recommend getting a Mac. Mac has no delays wat so every. Mac is the best if yu want to produce music or use timecode ;). Hope this informations helps yu

good, cause the thing is this asus is 4 gig / 320 HD and 2.4ghz processor with a nvidia 9650 video card 1gig dedicated... so if I buy a smaller laptop will this still perform better? I don't get it... I do use timecodes and midi controller (Xponent)

ok put it this wat. Windows Vista/XP is shit. For producing and Timecode Chose a Mac. Windows Has An Delay..Mac Doent. I Made a mistake like that as well. Dont Cop one as well

obviously these other guys have only had macs and the true answer is it depends on what program you'll be running serato is def. perferred but what kind of tables or players do you have? others fit better with others you know? but for the computer if your planning on just d.j.ing with it then yes go for the mac but if you plan on making adjustments and installments and dwnloading and uploading certain programs in sum cases the pc mite b the better choice rite your accommodations down and compare

nice one THX. I use Numark Virtual Vinyl software, and thinking on getting traktor next, only use V.V for video mixing, but I think traktor is more complete... don't like serato a lot..

HEY how does your set up works any issues?? i have a pair of dns 3500 hook up with virtual dj pro and i am having issues with key adjust on virtual dj i mean when i try to pitch up/down it sounds like chipmunks even with the key adjust on. another problem is when i pitch bend it sounds like chipmunks. please help.

all good man. wat you need is a device, a timecoded device which will work perfect with Virtual DJ Pro Edition. The best recomemded timecodes for Virtual DJ is "Numark VirtualVinyl" which will work with vinal or c.d's. Timecoded c.d's will work with any Pioneer CDJ, and all other DJ turntable top. hopefully this answers your question =D. and ohh yeah just to let you no, You can use the Pioneer DJM 800 on Virtual DJ Pro Edition though MIDI. Useful equipment :D

had so many of these, all broken. now happy with my rpdh1200. i mean pioneer has really awesome cdj's and mixer. but their headphones, especially the hdj-1000's seem to break very often. heard this many times. nice mix btw :) play in clubs as well?
