Yes, it may be, and I do not deny the fact that the lexis is incorrectly spelt. However, I have no wish to change it, as I am too busy studying ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE now at college, along with other subjects, to bother. So please do not respond as if I am un-intellectual by highlighting the correct spelling in bold, for I merely typed too fast when creating this video, hence the mistake. Sorry for any annoyance caused... but I do hate it when people assume stupidity.

This reminds me of when I was thirteen and went through my first rejection experience from a guy I really liked. I was devastated when I found out he didn't feel the same. I liked him for about ten months before finally realizing he just wasn't worth it and there would be many more dudes. I went through several more rejections before finally landing my first bf. @BananaSandwich1 As she is telling her 13yr old self not to worry, I can only guess that she found it harder in life in her teen years, yet is now the shell of her former self, and that she knows it'll get better in time: that the 13yr old self needs to hang on to life and not to give in to the darkness.

But that's just my opinion :)

@tashmortimer It's an song to kids who relate to her as a kid she is telling them that they are not alone in the world and that there are people out there who understand the pain and hardships that these kids are going through.But she is singing to herself to show that she herself is one of them who can help the younger generation because she also went through these hard times. ("The shell" is now after all the pain the shell is a stronger/harder version of her old self!!!)
