When Misuzu reached her goal and the song started, a tear fell from my eyes instantly, I didn't even feel it coming. This anime is nothing less than fantastic. Only anime that could ever compare is Kanon. Clannad is crap, but that's just me. I love this anime with everything in me.
I cried when this amazing series ended. This is what anime should be like, An amazing, comedic, sweet, romantic, tear-jerking show that when it ends you feel like your heart has been ripped out because you miss Mizuzu and Yukito, and wish there was more to watch. . In fact, amazing doesn't even begin to describe this show. So much heart went into creating this you feel everything the charters feel, every "Gao!" every tear, feels like it is not the charter experiencing these Emotions, But you.

Yes, the curse was broken. Yukito managed to break the curse by sacrificing himself for Misuzu, which is made him turn into a crow. Kanna's spirit was healed and her tragic reincarnations ended. However, Misuzu, being the final host of Kanna, was no longer able to contain her spirit and would still have to die in order to set her free.
As for the children at the end... they're either the final reincarnations of Ryuya and Kanna, or Misuzu and Yukito... or perhaps both. :)
Episode 13 is only a recap of what happened during the anime. It's not a continuation from episode 12. Similarly, Shuffle Memories is only a bunch of recap episode from Shuffle, save for the last episode.

My top three animes, all from the same person. Clannad, Air, and Kanon. I love them with all of my heart and I know that they are all from Key because of the drawings and just...the plots. They all have similarities that deal with life. They all get to your heart and just...pull at you. Key is truly amazing. :D
Misuzu has her father's eyes. I dunno why but that just makes it a bit more sad. I mean she didn't know him and then he tried to take her...and I guess I dunno. It just makes it a little more sad for some reason.

'cause in the flashback, when Misuzu is sitting on the wall, she waves at the kid on the beach, but that kid is supposed to be Yukito's reincarnation, but how can that be if Yukito is still alive and sitting right next to her?
It's sort of metaphysical. Yukito and Misuzu are reborn as the two kids on the beach. It represents both of them free of the chains binding their sad destinies. Those reincarnated versions have actually always been there, watching their present day selves. It's difficult to piece together, believe me, it took quite a while to figure the end out.
Well based on what Kannabi's winged mother was saying before the end credits, reincarnation is heavily suggested to be a constant thing in their version of Earth. They could very well be reincarnated again, but that's a story for another life they say.
At the part where its the bright light, and misuzuz says, goal <3 and then it starts playing aozora, i just sat there like : O for five minutes and then started sobbing xD
mmmm i dunno why i cried at this anime its weird and i dont even cry when i get punched in that balls but 4 some reason it feels good havein a cry once and a while ;)

My top three animes, all from the same person. Clannad, Air, and Kanon. I love them with all of my heart and I know that they are all from Key because of the drawings and just...the plots. They all have similarities that deal with life. They all get to your heart and just...pull at you. Key is truly amazing. :D

Misuzu has her father's eyes. I dunno why but that just makes it a bit more sad. I mean she didn't know him and then he tried to take her...and I guess I dunno. It just makes it a little more sad for some reason.

@Yesirox It's not outright said, but it's heavily implied. After all Yukito and Misuzu were reincarnations of their past selves.

I haven't even seen this anime before, and I was crying at the end of this scene. I would have been a nervous wreck if I actually knew and loved these characters like I know and love those of Azumanga Daioh and Lucky Star.

I dont really get the very ending..... I have never watched air though, I might thought sense Clannad was so good! Key is amzing! I never thought clannad would be good but i guess i was wrong i will give it a try

Worst mistake of my life,
I've only watched a couple of episodes I thought it would be a sad ending, so since I hate sad endings 'cause they make me cry I decided to cheat. It tuns out it is a sad ending I cried my eyes out AND I still want to finish it completely.
I wanna find a sad anime with a happy ending D:

it was just so beautiful and sad. the tears just happened.
few anime are able to have that effect on me, but another very good one that brought me to tears was Grave of the Fireflies
its these kinds of anime's that really stick with you for a long time...

Can anyone please explain to me how can 2 Yukitos exist at the same time? 'cause in the flashback, when Misuzu is sitting on the wall, she waves at the kid on the beach, but that kid is supposed to be Yukito's reincarnation, but how can that be if Yukito is still alive and sitting right next to her?

It's sort of metaphysical. Yukito and Misuzu are reborn as the two kids on the beach. It represents both of them free of the chains binding their sad destinies. Those reincarnated versions have actually always been there, watching their present day selves. It's difficult to piece together, believe me, it took quite a while to figure the end out.

Well based on what Kannabi's winged mother was saying before the end credits, reincarnation is heavily suggested to be a constant thing in their version of Earth. They could very well be reincarnated again, but that's a story for another life they say.
