I don't really know if you'll respond to this but I wanted to know how do you realize godhead? If you say you can't tell the difference between higher self and misguidance, then how do you realize godhead. All I know is that in the physical world you detach, and the thoughts and feelings come to you. My body is mine and I don't lend it to anyone, thank you, there are better solutions. And nice people also use to have a complex of inferiority, guilt and the feeling they don't deserve winning anything. You are wrong. You could start in the astral and then visit higher planes. Even in the astral you could set up a protected area and call some master to teach you something. Besides, it's a quick way for someone who doesn't know that there really is some other reality than the physical. To ward off ghosts, rakshasas and other demons you can just repeat "I am light" 9 times. You could even see for yourself that there is life on other planets. Posession? It all depends if you know protect yourself.

You are only pointing out the astral realm but astral projection is bigger than the astral realm. If we are not supposed to do it, then why would the almighty creator give us this awareness and body to begin with? Oddly enough, I just saw a video where the military are using astral projectors to go to other planets, dimensions and even for the purpose of spying on an enemy. So, your theory about astral projection only being tied to the astral realm is very bias and very closed minded.
Life is a learning experience, we all learn many things good and bad, and astral travel is just another experience, astral travel is just one aspect of spirituality, we are all spirits living in a physical body, and everything we learn helps us to understand ourselves and others and the spirit world.
And as I said before we all have spirit guides to help and protect us.
That's very true that people shouldn't astral travel if they have no knowledge, experience or protection, but that is why we have spirit guides and guardian angels to protect us and give us advice and show us what we should or shouldn't do.
Don't forget some people leave their bodies without even trying and I've heard stories of babies and children leave their bodies as they sleep. If we were not meant to astral travel then God wouldn't have made it possible for us.

Well you know, I still love traveling around in what you call the lower astral plane. Yes it does look just like Earth, except there, I can fly up to the clouds, go deep under ground, fly with angels. I love it. I find it very spiritual regardless.

IN that sense anything can be spiritual, and the word spiritual has no real meaning. But real spirituality is what allows us to absorb ourselves further in the eternal relationships of the Non-Dual Self/God.. this is the meaning of the term Yoga.. Well.. in the Astral Plane/ dream state you are still bound by your mind and senses, you are identifying still as the owner of the experiences and seeing things in relation to the sense objects.. This is called the second state of consciousness - Taijasa, Enlightenment occurs in the fourth state -Turiya - when the Atma lives within itself, unfettered by mind and senses. Astral may be closer to the spiriutal planes, but it is not the spiritual planes.
Although, an experience is never the same twice. It is not a simple one level consistance experience.
You can experience what I know as a "mental projection" and beyond. You lose touch with what previously was senses and the idea and concepts of subjectiveness, and feel as one with all consciousness. But to bring that experience back here is extremely impossible, although that experience is always a part of your total self.

@MrTrikonasana I have Astral Projected before but only for very short bursts.. a few times during sleep paralysis I managed to gather my concentration enough to float from my body and almost out of the roof.. but all the times I did I found myself being sucked back into my body rather immediately. As I said though this is only the mind that is explored with AP so there is nothing spiritual there.. it's a very low dimensionality that the astral body exists in...

On Vedabase check out Bhagavad Gita first, that and Shrimad Bhagavatam are the creme of the Vedas.. Sri Isopanishad is also very very good.. and the commentaries that are available on them are first class.. Upanishads are good stuff also..

Well - i fell asleep , was very sick ..suddenly i was out of my body.. i was in a VERY LOW plane. it was dark - i heard lots of voices. they was calling out to me. they wanted me to stay there with them.. it was so extremely scary.. Luckily my fiancee discovered what was happening and managed to pull me back. so YES. it is VERY dangerous. and they want to keep you there... i would NEVER do this on free will.

Indeed you are correct. Gotta be careful. I've learned some things the hard way here and there, back when I didn't know enough; but out of that came wisdom as I still learned from my mistakes. Not like I have been able to purposefully do something like astral project, but I'm sure that some things happened in the rift between this physical realm and the other realms.

I astral project - I use Crowleys technique from his GD curriculum. from my experience in rising to the astral plane I have found that one will encounter a diverse range of elemental beings, friendly and not so friendly. similar to a psychoactive substance such as DMT, AP can be a consciousness-expanding experience or it come be something entirely different. to say one should be a trained initiate before attempting this is probably right.

I don't really know if you'll respond to this but I wanted to know how do you realize godhead? If you say you can't tell the difference between higher self and misguidance, then how do you realize godhead. All I know is that in the physical world you detach, and the thoughts and feelings come to you. You are wrong. You could start in the astral and then visit higher planes. Even in the astral you could set up a protected area and call some master to teach you something. Besides, it's a quick way for someone who doesn't know that there really is some other reality than the physical. To ward off ghosts, rakshasas and other demons you can just repeat "I am light" 9 times. You could even see for yourself that there is life on other planets. Posession? It all depends if you know protect yourself.

But I recently started astral travel and getting into lucid dreams 2 way different things. yes its fun. but beginners stick to lucid dreams. Stay in your own body! once you are awake in sleep paralysis you can create your dreamscape you don't need to leave your body first! Trust me I was projecting for a little bit and really enjoyed it. But the last few times I tried it an entity has been fucking with me NO BUENO!

If I begin my lucid dream by having an OBE first then I consider it to be AP if not then I am still in my body. So I consider them different there is a lot of interpretations of what AP is so it really depends on how YOU interpret it and YOUR OWN opinions since only YOU experience what YOU experience.

You are only pointing out the astral realm but astral projection is bigger than the astral realm. If we are not supposed to do it, then why would the almighty creator give us this awareness and body to begin with? Oddly enough, I just saw a video where the military are using astral projectors to go to other planets, dimensions and even for the purpose of spying on an enemy. Life is a learning experience, we all learn many things good and bad, and astral travel is just another experience, astral travel is just one aspect of spirituality, we are all spirits living in a physical body, and everything we learn helps us to understand ourselves and others and the spirit world.
And as I said before we all have spirit guides to help and protect us.

That's very true that people shouldn't astral travel if they have no knowledge, experience or protection, but that is why we have spirit guides and guardian angels to protect us and give us advice and show us what we should or shouldn't do.
Don't forget some people leave their bodies without even trying and I've heard stories of babies and children leave their bodies as they sleep. If we were not meant to astral travel then God wouldn't have made it possible for us.

@ShaktipatSeer2 What is spirituality then? Experience is everything, I choose to not live in fear from the unknown. Instead I will push the bounderies of the uncharted. And by doing so, I have realised those barriers which I once feared, were simply contructs from my own consciousness, created by myself in order for me to break them when I was ready.
Yes there are negative things out there. But I will not fear them, I will only love because nothing it more powerful then unconditional love.

Well.. in the Astral Plane/ dream state you are still bound by your mind and senses, you are identifying still as the owner of the experiences and seeing things in relation to the sense objects.. This is called the second state of consciousness - Taijasa, Enlightenment occurs in the fourth state -Turiya - when the Atma lives within itself, unfettered by mind and senses. Astral may be closer to the spiriutal planes, but it is not the spiritual planes.

Although, an experience is never the same twice. It is not a simple one level consistance experience.
You can experience what I know as a "mental projection" and beyond. You lose touch with what previously was senses and the idea and concepts of subjectiveness, and feel as one with all consciousness. But to bring that experience back here is extremely impossible, although that experience is always a part of your total self.

As I said though this is only the mind that is explored with AP so there is nothing spiritual there.. it's a very low dimensionality that the astral body exists in...

As far as Vedic books, check out vedabase . net as well as celextedl . org/108upanishads/ if you are interested in studying Vedic wisdom. On Vedabase check out Bhagavad Gita first, that and Shrimad Bhagavatam are the creme of the Vedas.. Sri Isopanishad is also very very good.. and the commentaries that are available on them are first class.. Upanishads are good stuff also..

Yes. it is dangerous.i have since i was born seen ghosts+ alienabduction since age of 7. Well - i fell asleep , was very sick ..suddenly i was out of my body.. i was in a VERY LOW plane. it was dark - i heard lots of voices. they was calling out to me. they wanted me to stay there with them.. it was so extremely scary.. Indeed you are correct. Gotta be careful. I've learned some things the hard way here and there, back when I didn't know enough; but out of that came wisdom as I still learned from my mistakes. Not like I have been able to purposefully do something like astral project, but I'm sure that some things happened in the rift between this physical realm and the other realms.

Very informative video brother. I astral project - I use Crowleys technique from his GD curriculum. from my experience in rising to the astral plane I have found that one will encounter a diverse range of elemental beings, friendly and not so friendly. similar to a psychoactive substance such as DMT, AP can be a consciousness-expanding experience or it come be something entirely different. to say one should be a trained initiate before attempting this is probably right.
