If you actually have a quality computer, that has quality hardware inside, then your computer should run just fine. If you have crap hardware, then what do you expect?

It was a quality computer, it was brand new actually and within 6 months it had the blue screen of death. I've never had a problem on any of my macs, my iMac G5 which is the first gen version still runs like new, fast with no problems.

I agree tombes. I mean, you always see mac saying "PC sux, mac rules" on all of its commercials, but what did windows ever do to apple (next to get bill gates)? You don't see windows saying "Apple sux, get our PCs" in their commercials. then again, they don't need to cause they're completely outselling macs. IMO, Apple is a sore loser and is being immature about it.

Back in the early 80's, Microsoft stole Apple's UI and called it Windows; 2) Microsoft stole Apple's typography feature, giving you font types... not just the now know as System font; 3) Recently... Microsoft copied features that have been available in MacOS X for at least 5 years previously to the Vista release: you see... Macs have Widgets... now Vista has "gadgets"... Macs have Exposé... now Vista has "program switching with preview"...
