Quarantine is an awesome film. Genuinely tense and frightening. Leaves "Blair Witch" and "Paranormal Activity" for dead. i haven't seen [REC] so i can't compare to that. But, i love horror films. This is 1 of THE BEST horrors i have ever seen. i don't get why there are so many negative reviews on here for this film.

well that just depends on if you consider demonic possession, like in rec, realistic.  In quarantine the sickness is a mutated form of rabies. Much more realistic than demonic possession. Of course thats all in my opinion.
