ruiung it or trying to complain about something or have something negative to say!! i hope this 2012 shit does happen!! maby it will wake all the maggots up in this world!!! fuck yas all!! :)
all u fucking people on here.. WHATS WRONG WITH THIS WORLD!! your all a violent and destructive race!!! your all fucked in the head!! they should rid technology for good!!! and live life like in the 18th century.. horse and wagon.. the human race in a greedy viloent and selfish race!! we will deserve if we all die!! we are destroying this world and no give a fuck.. bunch of greedy hypacritcal mother fuckers.. war making maggots!! for once i want to watch a fucking video without some fuck face
@ketchupchits ive seen this plane and the super hornet at march arb this year and i have to go with the super hornet at some parts but overall this beat the raptor of noise by a lil bit,its the loudest fighter jet 2nd raptor
I would not say the Raptor will beat the Canadian special squadron of geese. We got at least 30 million of them and takes two of the them to fly into the engine and take it down.
@boratya your an iddiot!!! end of story!! and when the gease go into the engine they never return!! thats why pilots always watch the skys when low flying for birds..suchs as ducks pigeons seagulls, a fucking f-22 raptor would destroy anything in the world!! a goose?? lol what a joke..
I'm a aircraft mechanic in the Air Force, I see F22's all the time. They have a very distinctive sound. I don't have to see them to be able to tell what type of fighter jet they are.
I was there in 2006 therefore unfortunatly missing the Raptor, but getting F-16, F-15, and couple of other 'F Series' jets i think. I saw the Star- something and it took me by surprise cause it came from behind and I actually jumped and was scared shitless.
Screw the stealth... THE LOUDER THE BETTER FOR AIRSHOWS!!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
jks, consider this: If the Raptor was on a bombing run - where it needs its stealth - it would be flying in a straight line VERY fast on a direct path to the target. You can only hear it loud casue it is all over the place. Also, even if the target heard it, then would not have the time to prepare and shoot Ground to Air missiles or send out an intercepter!
outside of the U.S. In 2006 they came to Toronto but never landed here,i went to go see them parked in 2007 at Pearson and they had army there with M-16 guarding the hangar they were in.
That remains to be seen. The U.S.A.F has to create the most advanced fighters in the world in order to maintain air superiority in current and future battlefields. US fighters have to be superior to all because world events can change and the superb Eurofighter could end up in enemy hands! Also, the Eurofighter cannot approach the Raptors post stall agility. Everything else is still classified. But, time will tell!
I have found the difference between Canadians and Americans or anyone else in the world in seems right here. You guys don't have to talk down about the aircrafts or debate one another on something that no one is qualified to talk about; you simply talk about how much you enjoyed the show. Praise be to you all.
I remember near the begining of the show when an F-16 was flying about 1000 feet of the deck and literally shook the ground when it passed by. But the F-22 was awsome!! The pilot did some crazy stuff!!!
Thanks for the comments! Actually, I tried using a tripod & a monopod but there wasn't enough flexibility of movement to capture the planes - so instead its me holding the camera, both hands, and using my body as a 'human tripod'.
ya it was a good airshow that weekend Btw at one time berore the f-22 a f-15 was fitting with thrust vectoring nossles to see if the f-15 could be retro fitted to save money....lol enjoy the f-22
What an amazing day. Couldnt have asked for better weather. Said it before and I will say it again best airshow performance I have ever seen. What an amazing airplane, been waiting a long time to see it perform, and was it ever loud.
It was the loudest plane there later it flew side by side with a p-51 mustang and a f-16 to show the past, present, and future for the USAF This is the first great camera of it nice job
Last years F-22A appearance at the CIAS wasn't a demo. 2007 is the first year for an official F-22A demo team. In both cases the F-22A made it's first appearance and demo at an air show outside of the USA at the CIAS.

This F22 is like a flying brick!
what a load of crap. Just stick to being stealthy and leave the special maneuvers to the Russians Sukhois.

They should invite the Russian Knights, Swifts and the Italian Frecce Tricolori. That'd be awesome.

yea, they didnt even announce it, it just went right over us.
jetwannabe 1 year ago
Yeah, they do that a lot at this Air Show.
Last years F/A 18 Hornet did the exact same thing, though it was lower... and louder.

And who complains about the price of fuel?
sweeteedon 3 years ago
Here's a question for anyone at CIAS 2007.
Why did the announcers keep referring to this show as the first time the F22 had appeared there?
2 Raptors opened the show in 2006.
1 performed, while a second circled out over the lake, before they both headed off to the Cleveland show.

"Also, the Eurofighter cannot approach the Raptors post stall agility."
That is my impression - they are both outstanding performers but within vastly different speed envelopes. Makes it hard to compare them.

Bravo on camera work! Must have been using a tripod.
F-22 thrust vectoring allows it to loop like a Pitt's Special. Amazing!
F-22 performance in comparison to a F-15 is like an F-15 vs. F-4
